Hotel is amazing and has finest interior design. It is super clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming. It is connected to Sandton City via Skywalk and very convenient and easy to access the shops.

First time staying at the hotel (although have been to the bar and restaurant many times before), and definitely the most convenient location in Sandton. The renovations have been fantastic, and have really modernized the hotel. The breakfast spread is amazing, and generally it is everything one expects from a hotel of this nature.

Sandton Sun staff were friendly and helpful - this is big improvement from previous visits. They didn't make it look like it was a chore to be of service. Well done to management.
What I didn't like: I ordered sole for dinner under room service and it was not hot or well cooked. Even the mash was cold...
Other than that, it is a great hotel.

I had such an amazing time here. Thank you to all the friendly staff. Nothing was too much effort. I felt so welcome and pampered! The food was outstanding. Everything was a level up from what you'd expect of excellent. I am really grateful and will be staying here again on my next trip to Jhb.

The property was good, but the booking experience was poor, I had to pay an extra charge to relocate from the towers, which are different from the Sandton Sun Hotel that I expected as per my booking.

This hotel is aspiring to be upscale, and does so with it's service, but the actual facility is practically falling apart. The hotel room door would not lock, the drain in the shower was clogged, we only intermittently got hot water. The bed was very comfortable and the place was clean.

We enjoyed a lovely stay. Clean, comfortable room that contained everything we needed. Beautiful view over the swimming pool with a gym that we could visit even late at night. Rooms were serviced by well-trained staff.

The room was amazing.
However the responsiveness of front desk was not professional. I requested for a technician to fix an issue with the TV, no one came until I called again the next day.
I also requested a shuttle or transport to the airport and the gentleman at the front desk was not so pleasant and so wasn’t surprised the next morning when in fact there was no booking made. Not sure if he judged me as someone not fit for the hotel or not but definitely I am not amused .
That being said , the gentleman who welcomed me on my arrival was very pleasant and professional.

Excellent hotel with super helpful staff attached to a high end shopping mall. I would highly recommend this hotel.
Just be aware that there are two separate hotels connected with an overhead walk way. Our cab dropped us off at the Sun and we were staying at the Towers. The staffs at both hotels took car3e of moving our luggage and guiding us to the correct hotel.
