Room smell as a toilet

There is a newer part of the hotel with rooms opening to the hotel corridor. The part of the hotel we stayed in is the original older two story section with stairs (no elevator) and outside doors that has been tastefully remodeled. The room was quiet with a very comfortable bed. It is a nice size and well furnished including a microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast is good. It also has a nice pool which we did not use. It is convenient to the free way. stores, restaurants, and attractions. Since we have family nearby, we will be staying there whenever we visit them. I highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was good

The scrambled eggs were round disc didn’t seem fresh. Suggested electrical plates and switches be changed out to white and led lighting be put in. A little color of paint in the room to lighten it up. It would be nice if the lamps had USB ports in them or a wall jack. The landscaping up front with more flowers could give it more curb appeal

Close to the river!! Afordable!! And clean

Pros: Check in was easy. The staff were very accomodating & friendly. The room was clean & very quiet. Cons: Photo of outside of building on internet only shows the very front part of the hotel. This is an older hotel w/many outside entry rooms w/parking directly in front of your hotel room door. This did not feel particularly safe to us, so we requested an interior room. There are some interior rooms on the front of the hotel w/2 floors...however, there is no elevator, so all luggage must be carried by hand up the stairs. Not a huge issue for us but could be for someone older/physically challenged.

It was a nice place. Very clean and comfortable. The only thing i didn't like wascthe small jacuzzi in the suite. Way too small for the pricr.

Jalene was horrible and rude

At first glance it’s a nice hotel. Employees were great. Hotel room hadn’t been vacuumed. Dried up fried rice in the bed sheets along with black hair multiple. Pub hairs on the toilet, and no body wash. Then in the morning I used the laundry services. Washer worked no problem. I ran the dryer through 2 cycles and couldn’t get them dry. I had to go to a laundry mat instead of relaxing.

Clean place very quiet and relaxing.

Conveniently right off the highway. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean, room was comfortable and quiet. Pool was very nice, the jacuzzi was not heated but the kids didn't mind.

The staff Mary was very helpful and very friendly she welcomed me to the Best Western. and my check in was great and a great Breakfast. Keep up the great work.👍😃

Nothing unique, air conditioning was nosy we couldn’t sleep

Floor was extremely dirty, we killed quite a few bugs during our stay. There was bad wear and tear through the room and we generally felt unsafe. The door barely shut.

Sofa mattress had piss stains.

The check-in was smooth and quick. Once we got to the room it was humid and the sheets felt damp. This dampness never went away our whole stay there, 3 nights. The wall where the headboards are was covered in dust. If i could upload a pic I would show.

So we wanted a simple hotel to stay in after a long day at the water park, and ugh, it was terrible. First off the front desk clerk seemed to care less that we were there. Then, there is no elevator, so we hauled our bags and coolers up the stairs. The whole placed smelled musty and mildewed. The wall paper was dingy and the carpet ragged. Then we got to the room and good lord! It was filthy. There was dust on the TV and bathroom counter (like it had been stuck in time for a while), and everything was just a bit off. Finally we unfolded the couch bed and there was, I kid you not, a big red stain. I think it was juice or ketchup, I hope, but that was the final straw. We packed up and left to stay somewhere else. I spent a good chunk of my life going to different hotels in different price ranges, and it's hard to ick me out, but I do not recommend staying here unless there is literally no other option.

There is no elevator. Pool doesn't seem too clean. Rooms are on the outside. Seemed clean. We had a fly that tormented the hell out of us but we didn't mentioned it. Not a 200.00 room. Maybe for the location, New Braunfels but any other place maybe 85.00/night

When I booked the room nothing was mention about the room been outside with a door to to outside - when we asked to be moved inside they charged a up grade fee when we went to the room the air conditioner did not work - moved rooms - in the “up grade” there were NO towels - the rooms smelled like mold - there was a order to the room - the cards keys did not work when we outside and tried to come back inside -on Sunday the hotel ran out of breakfast -drinks - they people at the front desk were unfriendly-it was NOT a very good experience at this hotel-will NOT recommend this hotel-absolutely NOT -I would not stay at this hotel again -

The restroom and floors in hotel were not cleaned, they had a lack of clean towels for rooms and pool area. We were also placed next to a smoking room and we are not smokers. The breakfast was great and the customer service was good!

Comfortable, clean room.

It was a good experience overall. The only down fall is we could hear the people next door and it was hard to fall asleep with such chaos. Don’t get a room with the door to enter another room as you can hear all the noise.

It was close to the Schlitterbahn Water park. Besides the phone not working and the room service not coming when it was requested, I enjoyed my stay.
