It was a nice place, a little dated, but I was only there to sleep. My husband was in the hospital and I needed a bed. I didn’t really look into what the hotel offered. The front desk lady who checked me in was very nice !!

Checking into Courtyard by Marriott at Manhattan/Midtown East was the first thing that went right in a whole lot of wrongs.
Our 3 hour train ride got delayed by 5.5 hours (luckily, we were put us on another train after 3 hours.) Unfortunately, this ended up with me missing my Broadway show, which was the whole reason for the trip.
It was a long process until we finally got to the hotel, but once we did, everything started flowing so smoothly.
Everyone at the desk is INCREDIBLY friendly, like they go out of their way just to be kind people. I’m a girl in my mid-twenties, so sometimes kindness in stressful situations is truly all I need.
The room was absolutely lovely and perfectly clean. Everything was updated and well-kept. We couldn’t have asked for better!
When we went to checkout, the people at the front desk were more than happy to help us store our luggage for a couple hours as our train wasn’t coming for a few hours after check-out.
When we went to pick our luggage back up, a woman at the front desk asked if we would like to use the restrooms first. I seriously cannot explain to you how much I appreciate this! We don’t know the city well & it’s hard to find bathrooms sometimes + we were 20k steps in & exhausted.
The hospitality was absolutely incredible—the team is full of amazing people who went out of their way to make our trip that much more comfortable.
I will recommend this hotel to everyone & stay here when I come back to NYC.

I booked on line and when we checked in I told the receptionist that I had an appt at the outpatient sloan kettering center in the same building and she did not mention or offer the agreed pricing that Sloan Kettering has with the hotel. Very disappointed

My room was too noisy and I asked the front desk to a security to come and after the security come to check and call the technology department stuff come to fix that. It took about 40 minutes to fix that, and then, after a few hours, the noise went on again….. for a whole night. I was too tired and sleepy to call the front desk again.

Some elevators were broken in the hotel making it very time consuming to get up or down. The equipment in the gym was not good and the elliptical kept shuttling down. The location was good but very congested

Awesome property and conveniently close to midtown area. We travelled w kids and they were able to accommodate us with an early check-in. Will recommend highly.

Great location. Close enough to Grand Central and the subway at 53rd and Lexington. Very convenient area. Great hotel, quiet, very clean - the only thing is that I wish there was complimentary coffee or breakfast for the price we now pay.

If we were to come back to New York, we would definitely come here again. We would prefer if the hotel restaurant had dinner and lunch but the breakfast was excellent and the kids really enjoyed it. The staff were very nice and helpful.

best thing about this hotel is its location as you are right across the street from the subway and it is walkable to many places (15-30 minutes depending on where you want to go) without being in the chaos of Times Square. Our room was to sleep 4: a king bed with pull out couch. The main bed by no means felt like a king and the pullout couch was to sleep 2 and was absolutely ridiculous! It was a broken down flimsy twin sized mattress that by NO means fit 2 people unless they were spooning! It was awful! The bathroom sink barely had any lighting. Check in was easy, staff present on Friday were helpful but Sunday, the young man present knew nothing with regards to ubers/traffic, locations, and made us wait to store our bags after we checked out and picking them up to leave for airport (was NOT busy at the desk) If you are looking for minimal accommodations and no expectations than book this place for it's location only.

2nd time staying here with the family. Great location, staff was nice but unfortunately they were short staffed in housekeeping. We weren't able to get housekeeping service daily but the staff was nice enough to provide whatever we needed (towels).

Our stay was wonderful, the staff was very helpful. The room was clean, our only complaint was that one day they didn't have clean towels for us, besides that our stay was almost perfect. The location was not far from Grand Central station, about a 15 minutes walk. A great smoothie trailer and bakery around the corner and good restaurants close by.

Hotel and service is excellent. We enjoyed 3 days of stay with family and it was really good.
The breakfast included with hotel room booking has a very options and it’s limited.
It is great but felt bit expensive.
