Very convenient location and reasonably priced. Our room was a bit dated and could use a fresh coat of paint and deep clean. Wonderful bakery!!!

Depends who you talk to at the desk. The first young woman would not accommodate us to another room when I complained that the air conditioning was full of dirt so that when I turned the fan on I began to cough… and the window could not open. The second woman when I came back to insist asked the younger one why I was put in that room answered “just because I picked it up“. The older one then moved me to another room. Again, the fan was dirty and a housekeeper came to clean the filter. A window did open.

Wonderful location, perfectly met my needs, parking was a little sparse at night.

Great overnight stay bar was comfortable and bartender was very helpful and friendly. Food in the restaurand was very good. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to please. Would definitely recommend for a nice weekend away

Great location and bakery.

Stay was what was needed a safe, clean, budget friendly place to stay. The party next door to us was on the loud side, but wrapped up around 11:00 pm. If in the area again will stay.

Great find! First stay was a week ago going north stayed in the Colonial House. Coming back stayed in the Tillyer House & it was wonderful and would stay in it again.

The restaurant!

Pleasant atmosphere.

Spider webs all along and up and down stairs to the rooms. Air conditioner seemed to shut off at 1am. Only came on for 1minute every 20 minutes after that. Carpets on stairwell landing and hotel areas were very worn down.

we had a second level room and the steps were in need of repair.

It is a historic property. It has beautiful grounds and really authentic buildings. However the rooms where I was staying did not have and he made service unless you requested it and the shower was extremely hard to regulate. Most uncomfortable was the fact that ice was not readily available. One had to walk quite a ways to get to it.

Such a beautiful room.

It’s a beautiful property in a beautiful setting. A lot of history here. They keep the grounds immaculate and full of beautiful flowers all over. The Bake Shop with coffee and pastries in the morning was wonderful.

This was definitely more motel than hotel. We stayed here because we were down for the Brimfield market so it was busy, probably booked out because of the market. The front facing hotel looked nice and we were optimistic but as we drove further into the property to the rooms, we got a little less excited about what our room would look like. We pulled up as someone was smoking right outside our room. Naturally some of that smoke wafted into our room which only added to the smell of smoke that was already there. The place did not smell good! We couldn't shower because the shower head looked like something you'd pick out of a dumpster. Covered in mold. The room looked like something straight out of the 70's with old, stained carpet, stains on the chairs in the room and a smell that would not leave. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. For $200, it was absolutely not worth it and we will not be returning. We will stay further out next time just to get a nicer room. Would not recommend! Look for something else and use this place as a last resort.

Wedding venue in main building was beautiful. Service and staff was great. However the motel portion needed some work . stairs outside of rooms were ragged or nonexistent. Rooms ok. Great for just sleeping.

No fridge, had to ask for another roll of TP, very unkept outside, pool not functioning, just really subpar

same old, same old

I can't speak for the premium rooms in the other buildings, however the room we stayed in was probably built in the 1970s and really hasn't been modified much since. Tiny TV, uncomfortable bedding, plugs fell out of the outlets, overall run-down facility.

It’s a very nice little place, very comfortable and clean. Easy access to old Sturbridge Village and the Brimfield antique markets. I’ve been going there three years now and I always stay at the public house.

This beautiful, historic Inn is really the best place to stay in this lovely small town. It is landscaped so pristine with lovely flowers, gazebos, pergolas, and shrubbery - it's no wonder 5 weddings took place over the weekend while we were there! The historic tavern in the Inn is also a great spot to grab some dinner and have a drink. The whole places oozes history, and comfort. Just be advised, the motor lodge section is not as authentic feeling, and it's the only place where dogs are allowed to stay. (so be prepared to hear barking through the walls)

Food is great! Room was clean . Bathroom is very small but clean.

The hotel back behind the main house are in terrible condition. Part of one of the buildings looks to be condemned.

Great place! So welcoming friendly staff. Awesome bakery on site and beautiful landscaped property.

The price was good. The building we stayed in, the stairs and walkway were in poor condition. The roof needs repair work. The room was dark. The bed was very comfortable. The coffee and muffins for breakfast were excellent.

Very quaint and comfortable hotel.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. Our room was clean and comfortable. Food was so good in your dining room. Bakery was a delight! The grounds were beautifully landscaped. Loved the variety of flowers. We would stay again.

The check-in crew was awesome.

Beautiful peaceful property

I honestly would’ve rated five stars if it wasn’t for the fact that I really needed a night away and was put in a room right at a construction zone. When I voiced my concern, I was told because I booked through a third-party I wasn’t able to get a refund.
