Excellent hotel facilities and staff but found the wifi to be a little temperamental with it dropping out a lot which is obviously a big issue if you need to work there unless you have your own hotspot. TV service could also do with improvement as the smart tvs do not have any internet access (probably just as well given the wifi issues I found).

Pool and gym closed with no prior warning. Whole point I booked hotel was for leisure facilities.! No good will gesture offered, not even welcome drink fir our inconvenience!

Has been here since Reading fest 2008 always a pleasure, good transport to the city with taxi or bus. Clean room and very nice staff.

Lovely hotel not too far from Legoland as we were on a family trip. Good food, service was on point and very clean!

A nice, modern, clean hotel (glass walls on the toilet so make sure you are comfortable with your partner). The views leave something to be desired as it is next to the stadium so if you like car and bus parks.... Only there one night, so can't comment on facilities, but it was a nice place.

Amazing experience in the suite. Room was huge and living area was very comfortable. Staff were so friendly and will definitely be staying here again.

Lovely stay from start to finish. Room was superb. Breakfast was lovely and the swimming pool was great. We come here often and each stay gets better. Would definately reccommend.

The staff really go the extra mile to ensure you have a great stay, they are friendly and professional.. We return again to the Voco Reading because we feel so welcome from the moment we step thru the door. The breakfast is amazing , the rooms are spacious, clean and relaxing. The pool is great and exceptionally well maintained and never over busy .

Very clean hotel rooms were very spacious and all the staff were very happy and helpful. Breakfast was more than plentiful with a combination of full English and continental options. Loved the swimming pool sauna and steam room very relaxing stay. Will highly recommend and will use this hotel again.

I stayed with the family at the hotel and we Had a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and the room was very clean. The check in process was quick and all facilities were available. The dining experience was really good and the food was of very good quality.

This is an ok hotel to stay. A few things they could improve - one is the pillows - they are the sort which after a while don't provide support and also the rooms could do with USB charging connections - in this day and age people need this - we don't always carry a charger. Also the safe in the room did not work. We also had issues with the A/C unit - we did stay two nights - the first the room was cold and the second too warm - but we weren't convinced that the room control was working. The hotel - probably is due a bit of investment in maintenance and upgrade. We did use the pool and sauna and that was good.

Hotel Clean and friendly atmosphere. Reception staff and welcome very attentive, couldnt be more helpful. Room clean and comfortable, bathroom would of been nice with a walk in shower, updated bathrooms, but our shower was still very good. Bed was one of the most comfortable nights sleep ever. Although located at the stadium in reading, we used the location to visit areas out of town. too far to walk into reading, but a taxi ride cost £11.50 to town centre. Although we didnt use, the spa area and restaurant look high spec and would have definitely used if we stayed longer.

We were very disappointed about this hotel didn’t have a jacuzzi anymore, this was one of our reasons we were staying at this hotel most of the times. Unfortunately seems like we won’t stay there much anymore, very sad. Otherwise everything was ok, bit of misunderstanding over breakfast also. Ordered a omelette which never came. After waiting and asking to member of staff have been informed that order has never given over to the kitchen, again bit disappointed.

Lovey spacious room, very comfortable beds. Good food in bar and great breakfast. Pool also a nice bonus.

Really nice hotel friendly staff the spa facilities were good, the rooms was of a Good size and comfortable good selection at Breakfast only problem was Reading dont have uber service took bus to town Centre so that was fine.

Overall we had a great stay. There was an issue on check in where I was told I didn't pay for the room when I clearly had. I had to show the receipt but this was then rectified. But wasted time at check in after a long journey. The room was very spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. Shower was very good and powerful. Only thing I'd say is, there is not enough power points in the room. Also, the key cards to get into your room are rubbish. We were told not to put them near watches cards etc and we done neither. But they still stopped working. We went through around 15 cards for a 4 night stay. But overall, lovely hotel. The gym has recently been renovated. Superb! Swimming pool was very soothing. Sauna & Steam very nice. The location is not great if you don't drive. There is a retail park within 5 mins from the hotel where there are a few fast food places. Reading shopping centre was about a 9 minute drive away. Not sure how long that would take on a bus. The whole stay, I saw a bus once. However, I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great hotel with pleasant staff and excellent food in the restaurant. Couple of issues, the Wi-Fi was appalling and kept dropping out making it impossible to work. The TV Volume was so quiet I had to turn it up full and could barely hear it. Other than that an amazing hotel.

Amazing as always. Very big room and comfy bed with this price. Nice location and easy to park.

The property was very clean and modern, and the breakfast buffet was great. It is difficult to get around in Reading by car, and the M-4 access is terrible.

Excellent staff, comfy beds. Good value for a nights stop over with free parking.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel! The breakfast was nice, and our family, including our two kids, loved it. They were especially happy spending time in the swimming pool.

Lovely hotel. Good location. Massive room and the breakfast was very nice . Loads to choose from. The staff were all very friendly and very polite and welcoming. Room had toiletries and water The only thing was it was abit outdated and in need for more plugs and usb ports. So make sure you take an extra extension lead. Other than that. We would stay again
