Old, partially refurbished but somethings missing, eg, need more mirrors and towel hooks

I recently had the misfortune of staying at Queens Court Hotel, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The beds were so small, they felt like death caskets totally unsuitable for a comfortable night's sleep. We were three two adults and one child but when we arrived, the staff insisted they only saw a booking for two adults. They rudely informed us that no one else could stay. When I asked where my other child was supposed to sleep, they simply shrugged and said they didn't care. The lady at the counter was unbelievably mean and dismissive. I have never encountered such unprofessional behavior in any hotel, ever. To make matters worse, when I tried to explain my situation, the staff threatened to cancel my booking entirely. I was so Exhausted and without any other options, I was forced to beg them not to, as I was too tired to search for another hotel. This was a truly horrible experience, and I wouldn’t recommend Queens Court Hotel to anyone. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to stay anywhere would be better than this!

Easy access

Basic but very clean and very pleasant pool an d communal area. Very convenient for sea front, restaurants and pubs, all walking distance. Had an enjoyable stay.

I stay in the hotel just for one night but it was nice and clean. Just keep in mind that the position is 20 minutes by Walk to the center

It’s a bit on the outskirts of the cbd which I like. The staff were great and the good-sized pool is a plus. Rooms are what you pay for.

Property would be really nice if some easy fixes were made. Poor TV reception, obvious pest problems, and lights not working. Mentioned to receptionist and she did say that pest control had been there 2 days before.

It wasn't exactly what i expected from the photos on the website but still it was a nice place to stay and close to everything.

Reasonably sound and excellent staff service throughout staying.

Convenient to city. Ceiling fan in room was very noisy even on slow. Staff were polite and professional.

This motel was fine and the pool looked nicer than a posher place we stayed at earlier. We only had 1 night and the room was fine and breakfast excellent.

Have stayed here several times, good location close to town, plenty of parking, bit noisy being on main road, rooms showing some wear and tear, reasonably priced .

On the night got no sleep with females fighting the side gate every time someone came in slammed shut. Then you could hear people walking up stairs u and down for most of the night. Bathrooms across the room lots of people going in and out all night some spewing up . For a Monday night thought it would be quite expected something like that on a Friday and Saturday night . Staff were very helpful , the place needs an uplift up very clean.

All staff were happy to help with any issue. My room was a Budget room with shared bathroom which l booked by mistake but l didnt have an issue sharing. The bathroom and toilet was always clean. Good location although Sheridan St is quite busy and a little noisey.

Selecting a shared bathroom was a very bad idea. The soap was not enough. there was no hair shampoo. I couldn't find an electric kettle in my room. The microwave and kettle were located in a common dining space. It was very inconvenient. Almost 0 water usage is supported in the room. There were several warning notes in the room, if you looked outside you have to pay, if you damage the lining of the wall or on any furniture, you have to pay. It was so scary and stressful to stay there.

Does not cater for gluten free people

Toilet was running constantly. This was reported.

We stayed one night and were really happy with our stay. The staff were helpful and efficient and the bed and facilities were just what we needed.
