Great property and location for events in downtown Greenville. Spacious, clean room with large, updated bathroom. Convenient and reasonably priced parking.

My husband and I took our two kids that were 3 and 4 for Labor Day weekend. Everyone there was accommodating and friendly.

We were treated with the utmost kindness. The room was comfortable but there was a horrible musty smell in the corner. We informed the staff during checkout. We would return to the Westin. We loved our first visit to Greenville SC.

Staying in downtown Greenville is a treat and staying at the Westin is the cherry on top. We were only there for one night but really enjoyed having drinking in the bar with piano player before we headed out for dinner.

$480 for one night in Greenville, SC? This is an extremely overpriced hotel. There were 2 weddings and it was noisy and crowded. The hotel is tired, the rooms are fair at best. I have stayed at better hotels for far less than this. A complete rip-off!

The historic hotel was lovely and so was the staff. Unfortunately, our fellow travelers were not. Room doors slammed shut throughout the night and woke us up. The buffet breakfast was very basic. We should have gone to a local restaurant instead.

Perfect location for a nice weekend in Greenville. Would definitely return. Despite being virtually sold out, hotel was very quiet. A nice surprise was Spoonbread restaurant. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast there. I had the salmon, poached eggs and salad and it the fish was cooked perfectly, seasoned well. Hotel location was central to and walkable to the best of downtown Greenville.

We really enjoyed our stay! The lobby was beautiful and the front desk personnel courteous and a fast check in. Our room was small, but very clean, bed was superbly comfortable. I would say the only complaint I had was the annoying loud guest across the hall who thankfully shut up by 11:00 pm, and there was quite a bit of hallway light shining through the crease of the door and at bottom of door. Maybe dim the hall lights at night? Other than that, excellent stay, quiet streets

Westin was the best hotel for our stay in downtown Greenville , SC! Very convenient to all locations , friendly staff and enjoyed our breakfasts there every morning . Would definitely stay at Westin Poinsett again !!

The Poinnsett is everything you could want in a classic downtown “grand hotel.” We easily walked to wonderful dining and live entertainment, returned for a nightcap at the piano bar. A great experience.

We have the option of staying at other hotels when we visit Greenville. However, the Westin will always be our first choice over the Embassy, Aloft and others. Nice cozy field.

Loved this property, my only concern was parking. I paid for valet parking each night which was pricey. It wasn’t clear what my options were. Otherwise staff was fantastic, hotel was clean and classy! Great location!

Room was loud from noise in the hallway and other guests in other rooms. The hotel needs updating. The staff is very friendly.

Way over priced $. No room ready had to wait 30 minutes was told 10 minutes - that staff member left because of shift change - then we finally went back up to ask ! Got a very small room - no chairs , no sofa! Did get a bike which is not up to our speed !!! Bathroom so small both could stand together
Then a wedding outside of our door !!! So loud !!! We stand in a Hilton the night before at 3rd of what we paid at Westin. The room was large with everything clean and great staff!
I am so disappointed !!!
