Recently stayed 7 nights with the wife for our 34th wedding anniversary. Overall stay 5.5 on 10. Front desk staff were friendly and accomodating, but few positive points after that. No bell hops or persons to help with luggage.
Disappointed with the hotel itself. Outdated rooms with cheap cabinets and no coffee in room, very plain and unwelcoming. Kitchen sink leaked. I asked a maintenance worker to fix it (and take a look at the phone), he said to talk to front desk. Breakfast buffet was good with good service. Evening buffet for 30 euros was very underwhelming.
Phone in the room, didn't work the entire stay. Pool area was from the 90s, many sun chairs were wornout and uncomfortable or were broken.
The indoor pool is advertised as heated, both pools were not heated.
On the web - Hotel description and pictures are deceptive. The entire property needs a big facelift. And the biggest disappointment was a 10 minute detour walk to get to the ocean, when you can get there in 1 minute, but the hotel blocked access to direct route. Would not stay here again for the money I paid.

The staff was wonderful. Full buffet breakfast, with a wide variety of food. On site parking. Walking distance to many sites in Cascais, as well as the train station. Refrigerator and microwave, with basic kitchen utensils. Kettle can be obtained on request. The only negative was a sewer smell, however, we noticed this also when out walking so it may just be a city problem, not a hotel problem.

Hotel sited amidst multi-storey blocks in urban situation. Some noise from traffic and building construction. Cheap transport into Lisbon area. Hotel offered free hourly taxi service to local station on weekdays. Large supermkt within short walking distance. View of bay but no local beach. Outstanding staff, good English spoken, helpful, friendly, welcoming, ready to assist on any issue. Nearby National Park worth a tour. Highly recommended for adults, not much to do for children.

Lovely hotel, great service, friendly staff. The hotel also has a free shuttle service to and from Cascais town (not on weekends) although it is a lovely walk along the coastline. The bar staff make great cocktails!

Honestly, if we didn't have an offer on the room price I would find it too expensive for what it is. Yes there is an indoor swimming pool, yes the room was massive with a balcony, BUT the hotel is very old, the bathroom is from the 70s and the hotel is far from the city center.

Staff are great, especially front desk - always well staffed, professional, efficient, friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Pool perfectly warmed. Outdoor pool also maintained and usable. Easy stroll to Pingo Doce, farmacia, and endless spectacular coast, including the mouth of hell.

AC did not work the week of pur stay. Very disappointing ..Also not allowed on the back patio after 8pm...only option was to ho out or stay in the hotel lobby with no AC

We had a lovely stay as a family of 4 at the Pestana Cascais for 4 nights. Friendly and helpful staff, good indoor and outdoor pool and outdoor areas and a decent breakfast with a wide selection. The bedroom suite was very spacious with a big balcony and though basic and a bit tired it was very clean. The kitchenette and fridge were a great addition. Beds could be comfier.
The hotel is a 5 min taxi drive to the main town ( taxi rank 2/3 mins walk from the hotel) and very easy to get a train to Lisbon. The best part was our evenings spent at Casa da Guia - just a 5 min walk from the hotel this area has a lovely selection of restaurants and bars over looking the sea and lovely all lit up at night. Excellent waffle/crepe van too!
A more residential area but a very good bakery/ cafe and small supermarket across the road, and a wonderful Pingo Doce supermarket 5 min walk away (near taxi rank under apartments)

Very well run hotel. We enjoyed our stay: good selection for buffet breakfast, clean room and surrounding area, quiet location. Was not too far to city center and local restaurants.

Older property and needs updating for the price per night imo. 20 mins walk to downtown area but there was a small restaurant set around the corner along the cost which was convenient for night time. The pool area is small and again needs updating all around. I found the breakfast buffet was good but the dinning room was tiny and hard to navigate around people. 3 out of 5.

Excelente experiência em geral. equipe extremamente simpática e profissional. Em geral, o hotel está bem conservado. Infelizmente, o design está um pouco desactualizado. Principalmente, a guarnição azul precisa de ser pintada de uma cor neutra. Não exprime um tema náutico. O "spa" precisa de uma revisão. não é até o padrão do dia. buffet de café-da-manhã foi excelente. A propósito, fazer uma reserva através do seu aplicativo como membro é difícil. Tive que usar o Expedia para fazer a reserva.
Excellent experience in general. Staff extremely friendly and professional. Overall the hotel is well maintained. Unfortunately the design is a bit out of date. Primarily the blue trim needs to be repainted a neutral color. It does not express a nautical theme. The "spa" needs an overhaul. It is not up to the standard of the day. Breakfast buffet was excellent. By the way, making a reservation through your app as a member is difficult. I had to resort to Expedia to make the reservation.

Lovely hotel with beautiful gardens by the pool. Staff were lovely and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A little bit dated. The breakfast area was inadequate and had to queue to get in for a while and queue for drinks for around 20 mins. Could be resolved with a little planning and more drinks facilities!

We were greeted warmly by Ricardo who provided an excellent orientation of the property and surroundings. We loved how spacious our room was and the size of the balcony. The breakfast buffet had a very good variety of choices and was quickly replenished. We loved that there was a nice assortment of fresh fruit. The only downside was that our bed was quite hard and the walls were very thin. We could hear everything said in the next room to ours.
