Very cheap hotel. Though I gave this hotel a 2 star rating, it is probably the nicest hotel in Raton. There is just not a lot happening in Raton, so if you need to stop there for the night, this is probably your best bet.

Bath tub was very slippery...almost fell. Be careful. Someone is going to get hurt. Other than that, everything was fine. Nice remodeling.

Check in was very slow. Some rooms not yet cleaned at 5pm

Swinging door lock was broken off, microwave had no plate and did not warm food, room renovations are ugly, tiny, and cheap.

When we stayed we asked for extra pillows, there were 4 of us staying, they knew that before we came. We got a room with 1 bed and a fold out couch. They didn't have pillows for the kids sleeping on the couch, and the gentleman at the front desk said " i hope the kids have blankets because we don't have any. Luckily we did have blankets and pillows. It was clean, there were only 2 towels when i asked for more they were out. We managed. I'm not saying we won't stay again... but hopefully we don't need to stay at this location. Perhaps everything was on order, or dirty and we just came on a bad night.

The rooms were clean but with no carpeting they were noisy when walking on them. The walls were thin so you could hear everyone talking in the hall way. No elevator so have to haul luggage up stairs. If you need a place to sleep after a long days drive this will work in a pinch. It seems they are in the middle of renovating the place, hopefully they’re using it some. They do offer complimentary breakfast and choices are limited to waffles, cereal or oatmeal.

Showed up late to a hot room that didn’t cool down until 6:15am (after 4.5 hrs of being unable to fall asleep). Not very clean. Bathroom door made loud noises waking up spouse when opening closing.

This place was a great stay! Only issue i had was how hot it was when we got in the room so late and it didnt cool off good til morning. The breakfast was pancakes/waffles and they were delicious. The staff was very nice. Place was clean. Another thing is the no elevator.. tough to get everything to your room and back.

Hotel was fine and breakfast was good. However, because I didn’t request a first floor room the clerk said he couldn’t give us a first floor room. My elderly mother had trouble with the stairs. Lesson learned, to request it upon booking.

I do not eat carbs so there wasn’t much I could eat at breakfast. Boiled eggs would be a good simple protein to include.

Pleasantly surprised. I typically stay in fancier hotels. Everything was clean. Comfortable beds. Nice staff. Even had red raspberry yogurt as one of the choices Iwhich I never see at hotels

I liked it was a very good bed, clean, everything functional but it seems the AC lines to shut off at night.

Beds and bathroom were clean. We got in late and left early so not there that long.
Only messy part was the stairwell where they are doing construction.

First complaint was the air conditioner was off when we got in and it took half the night to cool off the room. Rooms were nice. Breakfast was limited - not really any protein options. Clean and safe though.

Room was spacious & clean. Common stair , hallway carpet old, dirty and wear. When I choose. Place in which I think was expensive I like to have a good tasty coffee. Coffee at this place was diluted and awful.

The room was okay but, not ready for the number of people we had reserved for. No linens for the sofa bed in the room, had to ask for them. Staff was nice and provided them though. The bathroom had several obviously dirty places… maybe from construction but, I definitely doubted the cleanliness of the rest of the place if such obvious things were left visibly soiled. Maybe once construction is completed it will improve.

The room was wonderful. Cute, comfy, and very clean. Check in was easy and the guy was very nice. Breakfast only consisted of carbs; that was the only thing I wish was different.

Check in person was excellent. The room had been updated, but the beds were noisy. The light switch was upside down and the walls were paper thin. With renovation going on, it was very loud. The day clerk was not friendly.

The property was excellent. The one that checked us in was very nice, friendly and knows the area.
We talked to him later in the day and asked about the area and all the closures and Covid was the reason.
Everything was fantastic at the property.

Need to update pictures room ASAP!all rooms were remodeled and look brand new great place to stay if staying through raton for the night

No elevator, pets allowed but no area to walk dogs, stickers and glass and no grass anywhere around

I understand that they are under construction, but you still can vacuum the hallway and stairs. There was no elevator to second floor. Probably won't stay there again.
