Staff were all very friendly. We went out in the evening and staff told us to take an umbrella although it was a light drizzle. All staff were polite and greeted all guests. It is my 3rd stay at Sunway Georgetown and we will always go back there whenever in Penang. Convenient with plenty of food around and walking distance to the best Tau Sar Pniah

quick easy access to food early in the morning till late night was so convenient .There is a convenience store just around the corner so you can buy sundry items if you missed anything. Happy with this hotel and would come back again. Highly recommended

Used the gym & pool several times. House keeping service was excellent here. Rooms were immaculate every day. Nothing too much trouble for the house keeping staff. I also used the free shuttle service to get to Armenian street.

its good hotel and easy to access to many places. especially for foods and city centre.

Previous guest hair left on the bed side table. Housekeeping did not do their job well. Cleanliness not up to the standard. Quiet disappointed.

We stayed here for 2 weeks rooms are nicely renovated and hotel is very conveinient situated for shopping and dining out. We did not use public transport because the hotel was central to most places and we just got a Grab and on average we spent 7 ringhit to get to 90 percent of the places we visited, Breakfast a bit ordinary and pool while it was never crowded a bit on the smallish side and very limited seating they can put more seating and should. plus getting out of the pool for the elderly could be a little difficult as there are no proper steps in place but we managed On the whole great place and I would go back.

It’s in the middle of a mega mall which is convenient for shopping and rainy weather options. Overall friendly helpful staff that helped us with luggage and importantly booked us a van to the airport.

Lovely hotel with great and helpful staff. Beds were comfy,pool was great to cool off with towels provided. They cleaned our room every day. Location great for hawker food stalls.

This is our 4th stay during our visit here in Georgetown.,
All is good except for their Vintage Wall Hung TV that is grossly lacking in Programs., Suggest Management look into Changing to Smart TV to cater for more nimble clientele for Netflik, Disney+ and other Apple or Android mobile users. This will complement everyone stay

The room is well maintained despite quite old. There is no sound insulation on the door and it is very noisy especially when cleaners cleaning the room. The breakfasts is very bad, limited choices and does not taste good.

Rooms are spacious. Beds are bigger and comfortable. Staffs service and security are good. Penang street food and famous biscuits shops are around the corner. Walking distance to Komtar and Times Square shopping mall.

Sunway Hotel is convenient to food places. Next to the hotel is a food street with a few famous food stalls. McDonald's and Times Square, specialty food gifts and convenience stall is 2mins walk from the hotel. Staffs are very helpful and informative.

Very convenient to get food and gorceries, local food hawker, lots of restaurants and shops just need 1 minute walk. Few local banks are walking distance. Hotel staffs are helpful and friendly!

2nd time staying here. Convenient as street vendors are just outside hotel. Only set back is hotel's coffee house is not opened for dinner and no room service

Hotel location is very gd, New Lane market for stalls just round the corner. Ample food options are available nearby hotel. Facilities are in gd working condition. Little minus point - There was a used towel and shower cap on the washroom when I checked in. Air-conditioning and WiFi was abit unstable.

All the staff I encountered were pleasant and very respectful. The tv reception was dismal and the service technician did his best to improve the clarity but was not successful. I believe the lcd tv should be replaced with a led unit. At night the room temperature increased and made sleeping uncomfortable. For this reason and the poor tv reception I do not recommend this hotel.

Convenient place to stay at with attractions very near to the hotel. Breakfast starts at 6.30am but when we were there most hot items are not read yet. Else all is good

Bedding was terribly dirty with stains and yellowing. Towels with frayed edges. Breakfast selection was pathetic. I was looking forward to end of my trip and check out.

Great location. Accessible to many amenities - local food, massage, cafes. Was upgraded to a suite which really made my day. Counter staff were helpful and accommodating. Facade was a bit deceiving Cz it looks slightly rundown.

Stayed at Sunway 15 years ago. Coincidently, booked again and the hotel has been refurbished. Very central. Reasonable facilities like gym & small swimming pool. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
