Upgraded showers are nice. But rooms are not pet friendly as advertised--beds have open bottoms, so small pets can get under easily

My room was awful it was dirty the toilet had mold like they hadn’t cleaned it the AC was not cooling at all the bed linen was old & dingy like the towels the side table was dirty with bugs when you laid on the bed me & my husband sank to the middle very terrible experience we were so dissatisfied we left & didn’t stay the second night

Stayed here only at a last resort due to a freeway closure. The room was not clean, there was food left in the fridge from the previous guest, the shower was dirty, and there were dirty sheets on the bed. There were too many shady people hanging out in the parking lot as well.

Check-in was the only good thing besides the price but you get what you pay for. Uncomfortable beds, super flat "pillows", dirty linens. Both ice machines were broken. Door security lock broken.

I think they mop with dirty water. The linens were pretty filthy too

The bathroom fan was really loud, tv not working, bedsheet seem not change. Beside that shower wasn’t clean because there was still old bar soap on the shower tub. Bad customer service. Front desk have attitude.

The room

We were miserable at this Motel 6. It was 112° and the hotel room was dirty, hair on the floors and in the shower. There was only hot water, zero, zip, no cold water. The hotel was out of ice. Then to top it off, the air conditioner did not work. I ended up staying awake all night dealing with asthma caused by the excessive heat and lack of a way to cool off. The lady that checked us in, in the evening was really nice. The lady that checked us out in the morning was not very pleasant. She was actually rude. She said, "Are you checking out?" I said, "yes and handed her the room key." I asked her for a receipt and she said, "I'm busy with something!" I took a step back and said,"No worries, I can wait, thank you." She looked at the monitor and didn't appear to do anything. She then said, "You'll have to wait for an email!" I just walked out, I have no time for disrespect and bad customer service, let alone a miserable situation of the room. We most definitely will not be staying at this Motel 6 again.

Dirty towels and sheets

Horrible service. Room smell horrible the bed sheet had hole like they had been burn hair all in the tube and inside the refrigerator. Ice machine wasn’t working.

The bathroom wasnt to bad, And T.V was decent But the room was run down and is lost somewhere in time and crappy. there was a ton of nasty looking stains on the bedspread, The bathroom toiletries consists of 2 motel 6 mini hand soaps and 1 stained wash cloth, Also 2 grimey hand size towels to use as bath towels. The overall condition of the property and feel was shabby. DO do yourself the favor and spend the extra cash to stay at a decent hotel and not Motel 6. Anywhere!!

The water was super hot couldn’t take a shower, the ac didn't work either.

The room was cool had fridge and microwave. The AC was weird it kept going on and off which i assume is an overheat preventative. But like it will get 80 then cool to 66 then go back up to 80 but nonetheless wasnt 125 like outside. Area seemed like a shootout would happen but it didnt so yeah. Great price. Nothing around so its really just to sleep. Not bad.

Front desk unfriendly. I asked for room downstairs and said it wasn’t available. Later when our room turned out to be unclean suddenly room was available downstairs. Room had lots of have everywhere (bed, table, towels). Only one dirty towel in the room. AC was ice cold which was the only plus

Bed bugs! Horrible experience with both hotel & staff. Did not even refund me. Do not recommend. I have always enjoyed my stay with Motel 6. It’s been my go to on the road for many years.

It is too old buildings

The a/c unit in our room was intermittent, and it was HOT all night. The room was crowded and the shower in the bathroom had weird stains. The area was a little sketchy, but the pool was nice. It was what we needed in short notice!

I would give Motel 6 a huge kudos, hands down! They do not require any deposit and their room rates are great and manageable. The rooms are not the best out there but for the price it's what you need with safety and comfort with a microwave, fridge, and a shower. The staff at the Needles, CA location have been amazing with me and the GM even let me check-in early one day when I got into town way before expected. Another staff member seen me sitting out in the heat waiting for check in and offered me my room. The laundry machines are open 24 hours so you can do a load of laundry in the middle of the night, if you prefer, which helps out tremendously sometimes. I use this hotel nine times out of ten because of the price and no deposit hassle. Thank you for being my home away from home.

It’s a two star property so you get what you pay for.

The rooms were as pictured on the website but I believe that once they painted the rooms and remodeled them. That was the last time the walls were ever washed or touched. They were extremely filthy, also the curtains were extremely dirty, the bedspread had a big stain in the middle of it. But the sheets and other bedding was clean and the bathroom was actually pretty clean. They really need to get somebody in there to wash the walls and to throw out any of their dirty or stained bedding, curtains, towels etc. One more thing the remote control look like you had been sitting in somebody's garage with dirty hands on it and never clean. I was almost scared to use it. They could have had a more comfortable chair to sit in in the room. One positive is the bed was actually very comfortable.

You get what you pay for. For a short stay (late arrival, early departure) it is ok.

Upon check in, the front desk attendant was very rude, presented me with an iPad and told me to sign it without any explanation of what exactly I was signing. When I asked what it was for, I was told “paperwork”. She then handed me a room key and when I stated I needed to pay, she preceded to tell me she had already charged my card. I had planned on paying in cash and was not given the option. Although I was in Needles at a Motel 6, I didn’t expect such rude behavior. Definitely would not recommend staying here. Take your business elsewhere.

This motel needs to be investigated by the city/county. The room I stayed in was very dirty and possibly a health hazard. My bedsheets were not clean. I found burnt cigarette holes and liquid stains on those sheets. The bathroom towels were also not clean and the shower area was not clean. The drywall had all sorts of stains and marks. I understand that the cost is cheap, but people shouldn't have to risk their own health over unsanitary conditions. We are still paying customers. Based on all of the reviews, it appears the owner keeps apologizing, but still doesn't address the issues. Like many, I also left the same day that I checked in. P.S. The location isn't safe either.

The service here was terrible. We tried to check in & it took 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk. When they finally came to the front desk the lady was very disrespectful from the start. She kept talking to us with a bad attitude from the start. The room had no soap or shampoo. There were mosquitoes & some black bug crawling in the room. we talked to front desk & her excuse was "this is the dessert we get those kind of bugs here. If you want your refund talk to Expedia because I'm not giving it to you." I handed her the key back & left. I been to low quality places but this had to be the worst.
