Excellent hotel!!!! We were treated like royalty. There was a glitch when we arrived and they showed our reservation had been cancelled. It was a mistake and they got it sorted out and all turned out great! Will definitely be back!!

We stay regularly at Pezula Hotel and this was the worst ever
We booked an interleading family room. In the kids bedroom there were 💩 on the wall next to toilet. Our bed was horrible and hard...kettle not working. We phoned reception to send the golfcart to collect our luggage at check out..non excisting...did not even pitch. We carried all luggage up to our car. Arrived at breakfast we ordered 2x cuppachinos. Staff where shouting an arguing in front of us....we did not get our cappuchinos...I went and asked again where it is and still after another 10min we left without coffee.. Personally It sounded like 1 staff member were not sober. We did not receive the R399 credit..I did asked them about it.. So sad that our favourite Hotel in Knysna was the worst experience ever

Pezula Nature Hotel & Spa impressed us with the dual-room adjoining family suite. Plenty of room and upscale furnishings. The restaurant had a great breakfast each morning, a buffet as well as option to order. We had a car rental and went to several sanctuaries in the area. Spa was beautiful and relatively inexpensive. The grounds are kept exceptionally well. If you are in the George/Knysna area, this is a great choice for a hotel in a central location.

The establishment is clean and well kept, however I am very dissatisfied with their service in general, from restaurant, they were short staffed and very slow. On arrival our room was not fully serviced, no towels had to request from housekeeping. The staff appeared to be overwhelmed and as such our a damper on an otherwise beautiful holiday. The breakfast offer was very limited and bland, not food you can eat more than once.

Beautiful property but it appears to be in the midst of financial trouble. Water was off in our room when we arrived. They stated they would advise once turned on but after a few hours we tried it and it was on but the water came out brown. After running for several minutes, the system did not clear and bathtub filled with brown water. Went to dinner and it was freezing in dining area (no heat running). I told hotel about sewage looking water and she said to keep running but I did not want to pop the drain due to floating sentiment. She advised they would send maintenance to drain but returned to room and they had not. I put my hand in the gross water to drain bathtub- yuck. Told my acquaintance while there that the staff have been known to steal items (he knew because he had worked there previously. Avoid this hotel

Not what I have expected from a 5 star property. The staff was great, but the place looks run down. Yes covid can be blamed. But they still seemed very busy,enough to keep standards high. The restaurant was sad. The food was not great. I had chicken wings, which they were waiting on the delivery for. It was not what you would expect from a 5 star establishment. You can see they are under staffed. The staff they have seems to struggle to exactly what to do. Yet it's not their fault, it's lack of training and management presence. The room was nice. One thing worried me the most: I have paid my bill at the restaurant and bar, only for a staff member to call me at my room saying I have paid short? Yet I sat there 2 hours without them saying anything. He wanted to come collect the money from my room? I refused. The next day there was no record of this? My worry was that the guy was trying to make a quik buck? So overall they reputation they have definitely does not live up to what you get, or pay for.

We have stayed at Pezula many times over the years and it remains one of our favourites. On this occasion you can feel the impact of covid in terms of the limited restaurant offerings and skeleton staff. However, it was still a wonderful couple of days to recharge the batteries in luxury.

Our stay was amazing, we really enjoyed it. The only down side was the breakfast, there wasn’t much variety so we had the same thing on all the three days

It feels a bit old-fashioned and needs a renovation. But this is compensated by a fabolous view from most of the rooms. Staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home and the food is wonderful.

Chef sat with us for half an hour just after check in. My wife is vegan and we placed an order with him so he can arrange dinner and breakfast.
Dinner was not prepared, we had so wait 2 hours and our meal was cooked as specified. We did not have dinner. Same with dinner the chef made excuses for not having vegan meal prepared. Not worth the money staying there.

What a big beautiful room and bathroom. Great shower with perfect water pressure. We booked a Junior Suit with the ocean view and a balcony.

I have book two nights to stay at Conrad Pezula during my trip through the Garden Route. It is a nice and great place including the room, facilities, spa, great view and sights. However, the only issue is with the services provided by the hotels team. I have experienced a delay in check-in for nearly an two hours and 15 minutes. I arrived at the reception around 3:00pm but the room was not ready until 4:15pm. The check-in time is supposed to be at 2:00pm. Moreover, during the first day, I have ordered a dinner meal to my room (room dine-in service) at around 8:00pm but I did not receive the food until 9:40pm due to a mistake in the room number. The food was delivered to the room late and it was not well warmed or freshly cooked. To apologize for the inconvenience, the hotel staff charged 100% of the food to the hotel. In addition, we have utilized the laundry service for washing some of our clothes. We handed over the clothes to the room service team in the morning and we were advised that we will receive them on the same day around 7:00pm, however, we did not receive until the next day around 8:30am. Overall, the hotels facilities and sights as well as the rooms are amazing. However, the shortcomings of customer services provided in this hotel does not represent a 5-star hotel owned by Hilton.

We had a wonderful stay in this superb hotel. The staff were just fantastic with the highest, friendliest service possible. Wonderful breakfast fare. Excellent pool and sun bathing facilities. I could not recommend this hotel enough. Coach service to and from Kynsna in the evening was great.

We were party of 8 (4 Adults and 4 kids) stayed at the Pezula for 3 nights. Had a great time. The location is perfect, tucked away in the hills. In our view, the bar and the restaurant staff could be more educated in customer service and being attentive to guests. We would not have minded at the busy dinner times but at 6 PM, we had to wait for more than 30 minutes for our drinks. Service during dinner is not 5 star standard for sure. we experienced it all 3 nights that we stayed so could not say it was just one off. Having said that it is great location, great facilities and would recommend this hotel.
