But tricky to get there. But someone was kind enough to take us there. Very basic room no expectations. That’s what it says anyway. Floor squeaks w lot. Bed makes noise even when u r turning around in your sleep. Floor and bed disturbs other person’s sleep. Was above a restaurant. Very loud partying drunkenness at the restaurant underneath our room till well after midnight. Sleep was impossible.

The property was keep very clean at all times during my stay. The staff were very professional, friendly, polite and helpful. They go above and beyond to help with what I needed. The ladies at the reception welcomed me warmly, help me get situated and provided me with an adapter for my computer since I had the USA adapter. Breakfast was the highlight, food served was excellent. Clean and well arranged buffet. Bathrooms were regularly cleaned. The property smelled clean. I felt very safe and welcomed throughout my six day stay. A big thanks to all the ladies that made my stay pleasant especially Anna and the rest...DANKE! I will return!

Hotel is in a very good location in the old town. Lot's of dining options around. Breakfast is simple but it is adequate. Restaurant dawnstairs is good. Rooms are pretty small but thats what you get for such a low rate. Staff are kind and helpful. One thing I was disappointed about was, when I requested a cup of hot water, I was told that I must pay 4 Swiss Francs to fill my cup with hot water. I have traveled to over 35 countries and no one ever charged me for a cup of hot water before.. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

Everything was fantastic! Easy walking from train station. In the middle of the historical area of Chur. Walk to all sites. The hotel gives each guest a key to the property so you can come and go after hours. I felt very safe and I traveled alone. There. Is no elevator to upper floors so that could matter to some but I got along great and I'm in my late 60's. Such a quaint indoor dining ss well as outdoor tables to mix and mingle with other guests and tourists as well as locals. Hostess had good English which was helpful for me. I had a private room but shared hallway toilet and shower. I was hesitant to book that situation as Id never done it before but is was awesome and private and I never crossed paths or needs either another guest. This is an A, score from me. Right on the midst of it all. Wonderful experience. Very quiet indoors and vibrant outside. I felt like a local!

No lift. We have to carry luggage to the 3rd floor. The noise from the restaurant lasts till midnight. The breakfast is good though.

Location was fantastic and the staff were lovely and helpful. We also had a fantastic meal in the restaurant for dinner. The shower was glorious, the pressure just amazing however it’s downside was that it had a shower curtain and not a glass door or enclosure as the curtain was not good enough to contain the water from going everywhere. We also found the bed very hard but that is just a personal preference. We very much enjoyed our stay

It was in the old town and only 10 mins walk from the station. As it was an old property there wasn’t a lift so I had a bit of difficulty carrying my suitcase up the narrow stairs

Bed comfort and lack of an in-room bathroom were the biggest disappointments. Also no hair dryer and only one electric outlet away from the bed nightstand were two more. No lift was another. And finally breakfast was mediocre at best. Help was friendly and good. And it was clean!

Location is awesome being right in the middle of the old town and within 10min walk from the train station. Service was good and the staff tried to help us sometimes with limited success due to our not speaking anything but english. Breakfast option was limited for vegans but they provided soy/oat milk for us. All in all it was a positive experience and we will definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay in a delightful part of the city. The highlight of my hotel experience was the wonderful young lady in reception. Anna went above and beyond to assist me. Such a lovely young lady with a great personality. Very good breakfast with lots of choice overseen by more lovely staff. Highly recommend staying here for the wonderful ambiance.

Super nice staff with clean accommodations and extremely walkable

We enjoyed that the hotel was located in an enclosed section with various shopping experiences, restaurants right outside the door, and drinking water from the fountains. That was an experience.

Monday evening in may, very surprised as how quiet the night was. Very nicely situated in the old tow. Rooms dated but value for money.

We had a nice one night stay here. Friendly staff and a big room. Right in the heart of all the old town walking sites. Nice breakfast. I would stay here again.

We spent a very comfortable night at this hotel. It is right in the old town and was. Ideally located for the Bernina Express early in the morning. Breakfast was very good.

I thought it was a hotel ….no private toilet or shower , no towels or wash cloths, unfriendly welcome …basically let ourself in…the only good thing was a somewhat decent breakfast. For tge price it was a horrible “hotel”?

It is a wonderful hotel with an incredible staff. Anna was beyond amazing and accommodating during our stay. She even helped give us directions and suggestions before we even arrived. The breakfast was perfect and had a lot of variety, and she even offered delicious, fresh, personalized coffee. The room was clean, and there was a cozy balcony where you could see mountains in the distance. We were able to walk to the train station in about 10 minutes, but there is also a bus that you can take even closer. There were restaurants next door and all along a cobblestone street. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again if we travel to Europe. The most friendly and helpful staff we have found on our European trip so far.

LOVED our stay here! Room was super clean & so was shared bathroom. Located 7 minutes from train station so location could not be beat. Area was safe. Breakfast was included & was excellent as well. Highly recommend. *only drawback were the pillows—too fluffy & didn’t support neck.

Great hotel in a perfect location for an overnight stay before the Bernina Express.

Very interesting experience!! To check in, you must walk through the restaurant rolling your luggage and sign in through a window in the kitchen. Alert - the is NO lift so luggage must be carried up multiple flights of stairs. The room was spacious, clean, and very adequate. However, the bed is approximately 6” off the floor and very difficult to get up from if you have any mobility issues. The restaurant is excellent and the waitresses are extremely helpful and friendly. The location is very good for wandering through Old Town area.

Was a great location in the old town. The staff were exceptional! They washed a couple pieces of clothing for us. They had a great breakfast that was included!
