Huge room with kitchen and large bathroom. Very quite and peaceful. Comfy bed and fully equipped kitchen. The only downside is the wifi was very slow.

The property was a convenient location with great views. The parking was right outside the room. The Wifi was not good.

Sadly, communication with the hotel proved impossible. I was “stranded” down in the town area with the hotel a half hour walk up a steep hill with heavy luggage. Numerous phone call ignored. Eventually managed to get a lift to the hotel. When there, staff were kind and attentive. Accommodation better than average. Next morning I needed a lift into town to catch the bus. No one showed up at Reception at office opening time, not responded to my phone calls. I had to hitch a ride down in to town. Very, very poor communication skills.

The managers are friendly. It’s a no frills accommodation and has everything you need. Bathroom has been refurbished and everything was clean. Kitchenette had everything you needed to cook simple meals. Had a small heater which did the job. Thank you

Lovely older property. Clean and tidy. Nice view of the mountains. Easy check in and out.

Bit disappointed - only heating was in bathroom and no electric blanket , so bit chilly at night TV reception was so poor couldn't watch anything for longer than five minutes before it snowed out. Internet very intermittent - and as i had to work some of the time , made things very difficult. All furnishings pretty tired.

This motel is on the run-down side. The wifi was not secure but that didn't matter because it didn't work. It was fine for one night but that's about it.

No heat one space heater

The tv had unusable coverage. Wi fi worked occasionally. Was not a 3 minute walk or 2 minute drive into town. Was not a 3 star and definitely not good value for money

Super clean and comfortable. Amazing view. Only issue was very soft mattress.

Far too expensive for facilities provided. Half the lights didn’t work. Advertised as luxurious but just a very “ordinary” motel - not even slightly luxurious!!!!!!

Nice and quiet and the owners were friendly and helpful. A bit out of town and the internet signal was a bit poor. Room was clean and comfortable.

Very quiet and convenient to Franz Josef Glacier. Not the most updated place but the facilities are nice and the rooms are generously sized.

Property was fine but I think it is a bit far out of town. Difficult when the weather is poor.

This property is very dated compared to others we have stayed in for the same money. Internet was not great, Bed was very springy.

Very kind people, nice space. Having the kitchenette was a plus.

It’s not 5 star, but the staff was great. The place quiet and clean. The sleep was comfortable. It’s exactly what a good motel should be.

I'm not fond of being unkind to struggling a business, & this one is struggling, we were 1 of only 2 units occupied that night. Smelled a bit, the blurb in the room claimed it was their brand of sanitizer & suggested keeping windows open to lessen the odour! A bit out of town, kettle didn't work so used the microwave, toaster didn't work either! Chinese lady at reception was pleasant, but spoke no english, so very hard to recommend the welcome albeit cordial. Hard to recommend anything really, sorry.

Has the basics. Very small kitchenette. Amenities as expected.

The room was not very clean. There were stains on bedding and towels. Bedding smelt old/not clean. No heating or cooling. Too far out of town. Did like the view to the glacier at sunset.

Upon arriving, we were pleasantly surprised at the updated accommodations.

The lady couldn’t understand us , spoke hardly any english , room was unclean and alive with biting insects , shower cold so didn’t bother, anyone with kids beware there is a walking space where they tip all their grass cuttings , a shear drop there so bad for kids

A lovely area and nice and quiet with friendly staff.

The check-in process was hard as there was no english-speaking person at the frontdesk. There was no heat in the room and we were charged for a room heater on top of the room payment. We were not told about this beforehand. The room had lots of bugs.

This motel is a 2 star motel NOT a 3 star motel

It was very disappointing. First, the owners/managers did not speak any English and it was impossible to communicate. Next, the room was very dirty even though it said it was disinfected. It could not have been if we had to wipe all the surfaces and the wipes we used collected so much dirt. The hair dryer had about 2mm of dirt all over it. The tea towels stunk so badly we had to hide them in a cupboard. The dishwashing liquid and body wash were so diluted with water that they just did not soap up to wash anything. And the pillows were as hard as a rock. We are not fussy travellers but we will not be staying here again, and I don’t know how on earth it received a 4.3 star rating from guests.
