This is the most artsy hotel my husband and I have had the pleasure of staying in! The building is so pretty! The staff was helpful. Our room was clean and huge!!! We will stay at this location again if we are in town.

Was just an overnight stay. Cute and staff was super friendly. My daughter goes to college at Nazareth and we will make this our little place to stay when I visit 😊

Overall great stay. Very clean. Breakfast was very basic and poor quality. I would have appreciated upon booking more information on what self check in and check out entails. I my case I am Canadian and did not have cell service so am not able to receive text messages. The self check in and out information should also be emailed.

Very cute design and building for a hotel! Quite modern on the inside. Was not happy that the front desk assumed that I wanted a room on the first floor with two twin beds instead of a room with a king bed like I booked online. Called the number on the building twice requesting a room with a king bed and both times the key failed, so I gave up. The room was nice but the tv does not work. Overall not super thrilled and don’t think I should be charged the full price for a room I didn’t want and appliances not working.

If you're into a robot hotel of the future, this place is for you. There was not another human being on site the entire time I was there. This includes in the office or anyone on staff. Despite the office being well lit (with a "welcome" neon sign) when I arrived (7pm), the doors were locked and multiple rings of the doorbell went unanswered. After I finally discovered that there was some kind of automated key dispenser, I found a code (with no instructions) buried in my text messages. The touch screen on the key dispenser was finicky and poorly responsive. it took nearly 15 minutes in the dark to access my room key, of which there was only one. I wondered if perhaps the next day there would be a person in the office from whom I could get a second key, as I inevitably always lock mine in my room, but no: the entire time I was there I never saw a person in the office. The only person I *did* see was the driver of a bass-thumping car in the parking lot at 4:30am who only left when I opened my door and stared them down. I recieved texts & emails asking me how things were going and if I needed anything, but they were clearly automated becuase when I replied I never recoeved any responses back. The room was clean & clearly recently remodeled, but the heated toilet seat wasn't worth not having any human beings on site for assistance. I'd rather spend more money to pay a human being a living wage to be there when needed than save a few bucks being underserved by automated tools.

The contactless check in took me for a loop. However, the place is very clean, cute, comfortable. The owner is great, spoke with him at check out. Breakfast is coffee, fruit and granola bars, nothing extravagant. Nice and quiet spot. I'll stay here again, next year!

Very conveniently located in a very nice area, nice staff, cute rooms! Such a great deal. Highly recommend Hotel on Monroe for your trip to Rochester. The only negative is the room is so small so the thermostat had a hard time regulating the temperature. The unit kicked on and off all night trying to adjust itself.

It’s an older older motel that’s been fixed up, so you can hear all of your neighbors. But the price is good and the location makes it easy to get around and find places to eat. If you’re a person that doesn’t want to have to be social this is the place for you. You can check in and out and never see an employee at all.

This hotel is very quaint. All new rooms, great staff. We had an issue with the thermostat and the owner came up in 5 minutes to fix it and was very polite about it.

The stay here was fine. We found good restaurants nearby. The shower was great, the room small. The beds firm and comfortable- only 3 pillows and we had 2 people sharing each bed.

A very reasonably priced, clean, attractive room with lovely, large bathroom. The air-conditioning unit was VERY noisy, however, and made it difficult to sleep. Lots of places to eat close by.

Call me old-fashioned, but the idea of a hotel where there's no one on hand to greet you and answer any questions is not something I consider favorable in a hotel experience. For example, I would have liked to be able to ask someone for a remote control to replace the one missing from my room. I also happen to think that it's misleading to advertise that breakfast is included and only put a few plastic wrapped muffins in an empty lobby. From the pictures, you can see that they did a nice job fixing up an ageing property, but the fact that there was an odd smell, an empty beer can, and a random hair in the room detracted from the overall experience. I'm generally not the type to complain, but I feel like this information could be helpful to others. Were this hotel much less expensive than others, I would have been less likely to complain. People often say that you get what you pay for. Not the case here. I expected more.

Room was alright, bathroom sink plugged and had the standing water in it. No big deal I suppose, but they said they were going to fix it, but it was evident they never even made an attempt. I am not mad about the sink, I am disappointed that they said they were going to do something and never did. Then I found a bug in the room. It was a millipede, again no big deal, but between no one around to take care of a few minor hiccups, I would not stay there again.. There were some other things of course the bed was a bone crusher, the upstairs guys sounded like they were moving dead bodies all night, and the TV ... 3 remotes and no directions on which one to push first... Figured it out eventually but just too WOKE for me. Overall they were not bad places, management needs some work is all

Don't be taken back by the appearance of the hotel from the street. The hotel was accessible to restaurants, shopping and the interstate. The automated check-in was easy to use. We appreciated the modern, clean look of the room and bathroom. We loved that there was easy access to take our dogs out when it was necessary.
