Mold and mildew above the door on the ceiling.

The only thing was that required a Suspection of room before leave to make Sue no pets or smoking happen.. I didn’t have none those I just had 2yrs old making a mess

No running water to the shower and only one faucet worked in the bath sink. Furniture old and tattered no cable tv but we did have Hulu. Will not be staying there again

We tried to book this room through hotels.com when we went to verify our booking through the app and online it said we had no room. Called the owner he stated no room was register under either of our names. Woke up this morning to my account being charged. Called the owner and he refused to fix this issue stating “I never called and to take the loss” will never recommend this place and will be contacting hotels.com as well as the east view motel later this morning to get my money back from the fraud. Ended up staying at the Sanford inn and they are wonderful!

Run down but clean for the most part. Way overpriced $199 a night for nothing.

They were friendly, but the room was stuffy and smelled musty. There was mold on the ceiling over the door. We chose not to extend our stay.

The A/C was yellow, didnt blow cold air, and when the fan was running all we could smell was mold. We both have mold allergies and felt ill the next day. Longest, most humid, smelly night of my life. The room wasnt very clean, the floors left dirt on our socks. For the price we paid it felt like we were robbed. Will not be returning.

I arrived in the evening to check in, but there was nobody in the office despite the "open" sign in the window. I tried ringing the door bell and calling the phone number multiple times with no response. After two hours of waiting, I was able to get a room at a nearby hotel.

The water took ten minutes to get hot . The floor was not clean. They don’t give you any conditioner . There is no cable tv just roku that cuts out every 5 minutes. But foir the price the room was good. The sheets were clean . The area is good

Very nice people, great and vast service. They upgraded our room at no additional cost just because one was available. The room was in a good size and clean. Overall very recommended.

Disgusting place. Saw hair between the sheets so wouldn’t sleep under the blankets. Rate this place a rate of 2.

I do not recommend this establishment. It was not worth the money we paid for. the smell in the room is absolutley disgusting in the room, the key did not work to even lock the door when leaving. The beds were old and broken, the whole night we were sliding down the bed.

Location is good, a short drive to beach. Good for the money and good for a short stay, however did not like the neighbors waking us up with loud motorbike noise, other than that very quiet. Some sites mention a pool, actual pool is under repairs. Staff was helpful. If you are looking for a budget clean place this would be ok!

The place was so dirty-mud all over the floor. There were buys crawling out of the 1970 air conditioner. The room was supposed to be non smoking and upon entering the room it stank like stale smoke. The bed was so uncomfortable we didnt sleep all night long.

It was clean, had a working refrigerator and TV. The bad things were a roach in the bathroom, the room smelled strongly of cigarettes and there was something that looked like dried up puke out side the door. Oh and it was expensive for the condition!

The sheets didn’t look like they had been washed, there was hair and dirt on them.

The owner was rude to us when we checked in because I had one extra person with me then what the reservation had said. The cost of the room was not bad when I booked it at $65.00 a night. The owner told me that he would have to change me a extra $15 a night for the extra person because he has to pay online booking fees, and if that person is going to shower that is extra water the he has to pay for. So I said fine. Went to the room the only good thing I can say about the room is that the beds were comfortable. The room was old and smelled really bad. The whole hotel was so run down he only had two other people staying in the hotel at the time were there. We only ended up staying one night out of the three that we had planned on being there for. I could not stand the smell in the room.

If you want something cheap and clean and comfortable this is your place. The only real complaint iHave was we had room 23 and connecting to the wifi was hard.

The pool was broken. The beds are really old and not comfortable. The floor of the room was dirty and we found cigarets behind the beds. The wifi didn't work well.

The owners were very friendly and attentive. The room had everything we needed: two beds, a microwave, a mini-fridge and a TV. They also had free wifi. I would stay here again.

Room was musty, smoky and stale smelling. Dated and run down interior and exterior. Purely a cheap option for a quick night's stay, would not recommend using this as for a vacation stay as its just not very comfortable or pleasant.

Rooms are very small and the entire place is a mess, not acceptable for the price. They probably rent by the HOUR>

I was commuting to Portland for work for a few days and decided to spend two nights rather than drive for four hours. I found Eastview Motel on Expedia and it had decent reviews for a cheap motel. I reserved two nights through Expedia the day before. On the morning of my check-in I received an email from the owner welcoming me to the Eastview Motel, confirming my reservation and explaining how his son will have an emergency operation in Boston which would require me to call their phone number when I arrive and they would direct me to the key to my room. I understand that emergencies arise and didn't think twice about changing my reservation. When I arrived in the late afternoon I saw the office light said "Open" and I figured they may have returned from Boston. Unfortunately, the office was locked and there was a note posted to the door for me to call a phone number to retrieve my room key. I called the number and received a voicemail. I waited at the motel for 15 minutes after the call. When I never received a phone call I decided to leave and find another hotel in the area. No one from Eastview ever returned my call. I assumed that due to their emergency and failure to return my call, they would just cancel my reservation. I checked my credit card statement a day later and I was appalled to find they still charged me for a two night stay. When I called, they offered to remove the charge. I assume they were just hoping that the charge would go unnoticed. Very unprofessional!
