Quiet area, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms. A great place to stay even though there are no breakfast facilities in the hotel and public transport requires a bit of walking.

Clean, cool, comfortable, plus helpful friendly staff. Great location, less than a 10 minute walk to multiple MRT lines. Lots of restaurants nearby as well, plus the Tiong Bahru hawker center for cheap food food options.

If you want to stay a little outside the city centre then this hotel is quite convenient. The bus stop is right outside and both Havelock and Outram park MRT stations are an easy 10min walk. The taxi ride to/from Changi airport is a breeze as the hotel is just off the expressway and avoids congestion in the city. The suites are spacious but it may be worth trying to get a room higher up. I was on the 2nd floor and the traffic noise was loud throughout the night. Tiong Bahru market is close by for breakfast

I stayed here with my wide for 3 days . Service and front desk was excellent . Room was disappointment for 4 star hotel as rather worn, was on first floor you are very visible to people outside in cars and streets. Shower had clear window bizarrely and drop down screen did not cover gaps ! sliding door was hard to open and close Fine for 2 star but not for 4 star

Great assistance from front desk. Rooms are very spacious and clean. An obscure location but good access to everywhere. Some nice touches such as flavoured water and snacks. Will definitely recommend.

The refrigerator seemed old and smelled so I couldn't use it. I checked with the facility and they said there was no problem, but I couldn't use it. Other than that, the staff was very responsive. Bread was limited in quantity at breakfast, but it was very nice to be able to eat it.

Fantastic location in a foodie neighborhood - lots of dining options inside and outside Tiong Bahru Hawkers’ Center. 7-11 stores, ATM, etc etc are all within a short walk. Close to many bus lines.

There are not any convenience store around D'Hotel.

The air conditioning didn’t work on the first night, which in Singapore is excruciating. They tried to fix it but then moved us to another room for the night which smelt stale. They took most of the second day to fix the room we were originally in, meaning we couldn’t easily access our stuff or change and basically had to be out in what we wore the previous day. I definitely won’t go back or recommend.

Very nice place, but it was nicet 6 year ago. The staff was very helpful. Keep the place clean.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location for local transport busses opposite and Train only 400mtrs away. Getting just a little jaded now but overall good.

First time we have been to Singapore and loved it, we felt the hotel was close to everything and the staff were extremely helpful and could not fault their service. Would definitely stay here again.

First of all, I would say this establishment seems & look like any typical boutique hotel based on photos. DON’T be deceived by the photos. The place had been rather antiquated and very little effort has been done to make it to function like a proper hotel. I’ve stayed here for 2 weeks and here are things that remained consistent. Customer service remains a facade just like the building. Seems and appears nice but actual service is mediocre at best. Called house keeping ahead of time (About 3 hrs) to tidy up the room but they did not follow up until second reminder. Cleanliness of room is very minimal. Stains on chairs and tables had remained after cleaning. Sheets are not replaced everyday. Amenities are facade. Gym is just an enclosed 300sqft room with no lighting fixtures. “Rooftop bar” is also but a facade, nothing but closed off access to abandoned fixtures and tables. Most likely due to recent acquisition of the hotel by new owner. Location is nowhere near anything fun or remarkable landscapes. Only decent side is the rooms are fairly big. But they don’t provide the minimal standards. Come on, no water provided in the rooms. I’d recommend not staying here and use your money for a better place elsewhere.

Nice and clean room. Not so convenient if you need to be closed to MRT stations. Light breakfast bar is ok, better than expected. Underground drop-off is kind of weird, but it’s still ok to have elevator access to.

The hotel is in disrepair, and the room was dirty. The ceiling was dripping, moldy, and falling down outside our room. The walls inside our room were water damaged and moldy, and the shower had mold. We took photos, but I don't know how to submit them. This was supposed to be a highly rated, 4-stat hotel. I feel like I was duped by Expedia. The staff was friendly, but housekeeping kept removing our towels. We had to request them to be returned multiple times.

The only thing is the reception area is very small. But for the capacity of the hotel , it is ok. One important thing is the outer construction of the building, it is not too fire safe friendly. Still can’t figure out why the outer meter wall unit works when there is fire

This is my second stay there. Superb in all respects as always. Highly recommended.

The day of our enterance the smell in the area was not good , garbage ( empty boxes ) were visible , the cieling was leaking water at 6th floor but the rooms were very clean and spacious, the staff were friendly and location has easy access to mrt .
