Internet is not working whole 2 days , and rooms are very congested

Pathetic property at this rate
Room size was like a cellar, roofs and walls were all stained. TV was hanging in an oblique direction.
Lights were not working, electricity repair guy came after complain.
Breakfast and dinner was also very very average.

The stay was good, comfortable, homely under quite friendly atmosphere. It's more of an informal type. I loved it. The ambience was good.
Though the girls at Reception were under training, Nikhil was good, intelligent and very cooperative. Good material for you.

Fridge did not work. Power went off but they could not restore. They gave me another room, which has broken tiles and two twin beds. Inconvenient and poor standards for the cost

The rooms was comfortable but the phone did not work in the room. The TV too wasn't working and i got the technician to come in and fix it. Housekeeping needs to do a thorough check to ensure gadgets are working in the room to avoid inconvenience to the customer.

The stay at the Hotel was very pleasing. But only one problem I faced was regarding room service. When Buffet time is going on the room service is not given. I will suggest that parallelly the room service should be on. Recently I faced the same. I wanted snack to have but the room service refused to give accept coffee. Rest every thing was fine.

Wonderful, cheerful, satisfying, comfortable, happy are all words to describe my stay at the hotel. The staff went out of their way to insure my comfort and satisfaction. The food served at both the breakfast and supper buffet was 5 star, the best of south Indian cuisine. The wait staff at the buffet were also 5 star, constantly observing and answering your need before it was voiced. The front desk personnel were always friendly and smiling even though they and I could not communicate properly at times. The room was comfortable, cool and had a wonderful view of the city. Housekeeping was on a daily basis and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful at every turn, trying their best to make me happy and comfortable. All things considered, I would not hesitate to stay at the Ginger Hotel at Tidel Park again. My 24 days there were filled with happiness and satisfaction.

The whole hotel is just one floor of the research park. Power kept going off and the wi-fi was flaky at best. Stay tried their best to help but there experience was not good especially considering there price.
The room was small. Window was tiny and the room service was OK at best.
The towels were not soft and they gave just one towel?!

A new experience . One can enjoy self-services. Near to beach also. Very good hotel staff.

Given the room rates. The hotel is a decent return for your money just for the location. It's proximity to ramanujan IT city is the big plus. The room and facilities are on par for a budget hotel. But definitely clean. The rooms are on the top floor so the lift takes a long time. The staff are friendly. Overall I rate as a 3.5 but only for biz travellers

1. Location: Out skirts. Only good for people who have some work in nearby locations. Else it's highly avoidable. Better go for Ginger Vadapalani.
2. Breakfast: No complimentary breakfast!! I paid 3k for a room and you can't offer complimentary breakfast!! You need to learn from the competition.
3. Rooms: Too small and not comfy. Next to my room there was a storeroom!! No view at all.. It was such a big big let down. Good thing was that I only went there back in night to sleep.
4. Food: No lunch service. You have to call nearby hotels for that. Really!!

Hotel was nice, the staff was excellent and the service was great, BUT there was heavy construction going in right next to the hotel building. The construction noise was annoying till late night and early morning.

Ginger Hotel is very ordinary hotel and does not justify the cost. Room Stay might give u a feel that at $30-35 cost, you would get all amenities like air-conditioning, television, good bed but unfortunately things are not maintained & even services are not available. Facilities are there but on self serve basis

This hotel is only meant for people who have any business in IT park. For all others it is a very inconvenient location . No access to the hotel which is located on the 11 th floor(lift did not work). no shops nearby, no room service (except dinner). None of this is mentined on the website

On the plus side, the hotel is decently situated at the start of the IT highway, rooms are comfortable, the shower stall is pretty good and the staff is polite, albeit ineffective. On the flip side, cell phone reception is terrible (which means the WiFi password that you need, never arrives via SMS during your stay), the toilet flush quit on the last night and there was no one to fix it, the toilets itself use recycled water that looks pretty gross and finally unless you have your own transportation expect to be fleeced by Chennai autorickshaw drivers on a daily basis getting to and from the hotel.

This hotel is located in a building not even a free standing hotel but rather a floor within a very scary building. I was terrified walking in and I couldn't even find the front door because there were no lights on. It is not close to anything, 4 miles from Chennai and its not even a safe walk to any stores or local spots. Its surrounded by garbage and there is nothing to do there but be in your room and it was expensive in comparison to other places with much, much more to offer. Thumbs down!

Good service, however the check in time was 12:00 which i wasnt aware.Reached the Hotel at 10:00 AM & had to spend 2 hours in the Hotel restuarant before i could check in at 12:00 Noon. The reception staff ensure i could check in at 11:15 Am which i believe in a good thing as they went out of their way to help me.I am satisfied overall though.

Rooms were very small, most of them don't have any windows. The air system makes horrible noise at night, couldn't sleep at night due to the noise. Will not stay here again, though staff were well behaved and helpful. No room service available.

I arrived late at night and there was no signage for the hotel, and it took the taxi driver almost an hour to finally find the location. There was no security guard on duty and the surrounding area was pitch black and deserted - it was one of the most frightening experiences in travel I have ever had. To make matters worse, I requested an early am taxi to airport, was told there was not problem, and in morning was told that was too early for a cab. I ended up missing my flight. I would never recommend unless you are there to visit/work at HITEC business area.

Utterly disgusting from finding the address (took 1 hour for a seasoned Chennai driver.To the wooden and rude reception staff.The stay was one of the most unpleasant one I have had in 30 years of my travel!!
