Our place had two rooms and was very spacious and we loved the decor of the place. Coming in the off season, we felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna. Service was excellent.

For the price and 5 star hotel rating, you expect more, quite simply. They charge €3 per espresso pod, when even the most basic hotel have complimentary coffee included. The staff are unsure how to light a log fire and the wifi in the room does not work. The breakfast is the only highlight- besides this, the rooms are very basic along with the amenities in the bathroom. The location is beautiful and the spa is very nice- the actual rooms are small and there were lots of flies and bugs in the room.

It was absolutely amazing. Food was unbelievable. Service excellent. I would the only improvement would be the spa I would make it bigger with a hydra pool. The suites themselves were romantic and secluded.

Poor lighting throughout the room, bring headlamps or flashlights, also tobget around the property at night. They caternto large groups so inquire before making a dinner reservation otherwise you will not be able to have a conversation .

It was a wonderful experience in L'and Vineyards, the Sky view suite was perfect for a romantic getaway, with the sky view of course, the private pool, the big bathtub, and the outside fireplace... The view on Montemor-castle was majestic.
The service is very attentive, and the staff are very helpful and responsive.
Thank you to the reception and the restaurant staff for making it a very memorable experience.

My husband and I decided to come to L'AND for my birthday. We had a pleasant weekend but we felt that this 5-star hotel was lacking in a few things that didn't really give us a 5-star experience. We felt that the room lacked a few finishing touches, the toiletries were subpar, the toilet paper was very rough, there was very little lighting in the bathroom and the TV was cheap and didn't fit the overall design of the place. The bed was very comfortable, the robes were plush, and the fireplace outside was really lovely. I also felt that the breakfast could have been handled a bit better. We stayed during Covid and they asked us to book our breakfast (which was a good idea) but then the buffet needed to be served by the staff (also a good idea) however, there was usually only one person manning the buffet station and about 4-5 people waiting to be served. It didn't seem that the restaurant area lacked staff but I could be wrong.
Overall we had a nice stay, I enjoyed my complimentary bottle of wine and cake for my birthday, but I didn't feel like we had a 5-star experience.

Incredible stay at a beautiful and relaxing property! Spent two nights in the Sky View Suite and loved the amenities - nightly fire, plunge pool, spa, and restaurant. We hope to visit again!

Property is a massive vineyard that is still under some construction. We had a miscommunication with the property with regards to when we booked our garden suite it showed it had the skylight in the bedroom. This was not the case and was only available to the other suite. The staff blamed this on expedia and said it was not their fault. They gave us the option to upgrade to the skylight room for an additional 100 Euros. Room was massive. Outdoor fireplace really seemed to lack any additional furniture and seemed to under use the space as they only had two chairs and a small table. Overall it was a pretty cool place but did not blow us away. The spa was very nice and well laid out. One of the issues was with my wife commenting on the shower in the woman's change room stinking like sewage so bad that she could not shower in it and the staff not having any clean cups for water out. We could have asked and I'm sure that the staff would have come running with them. My thoughts on a five star hotel is that you should not have to ask about those little things. Great property and great idea. They just need to work on the little things.

What an incredible place with top notch staff and service. The views around the property are spectacular, the chefs tasting menu exceeded expectation and chilling by our own private fire was boom diggitty. Plus the rooms are spacious and welcoming and I can’t stress enough the morning buffet breakfast is perfection
