If you are going to hike Trolltunga there are not so much options close. This ia a very basic hotel in the level of an Ibis but way more expensive. Small room with small bed (140m wide). No floor towel in bathroom. Suprisingly the restaurant is good and stands out compared to the hotel.

Clean and updated rooms. Great scenery from every side. Great location by lake and near a walking path. Good breakfast!

Great hotel and staff in idyllic setting.

Trolltunga Hotel was the perfect place to stay before our hiking excursions with Trolltunga Active the next day. We met with a guide that evening at the hotel for an information meeting. We had a spectacular view of the lake and mountains from our room.

Beautiful setting and close to Trolltunga. Beds were comfy, staff was friendly and breakfast was fantastic!

Breakfast was so so. Location is perfect. Sound isolation is almos non-existing.

This hotel is nestled right next to the rapids leaving Lake Sandvinvadnet leading into Hardangerfjord in the pretty little town of Odda. The dining options in the hotel are outstanding - the views from the rooms, the restaurant and the patio are breathtaking. Even if you’re not doing a hike to Trolltunga or to the glacier - this place is worth the stay.

Excellent hotel and well suited for us because we did a guided trip with Trolltunga Active. Breakfast was good and convenient. Not much other facilities to speak of. Rooms are clean and simple.

Absolutely beautiful setting. Clean rooms, comfy beds. The staff were great and the breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious

Really enjoyed my stay here. The views are spectacular from the room and the hotel terrace, the staff went out of the way to share info about the shuttle schedule. Breakfast was quite good as well. I’d definitely stay again. Thank you.

Amazing hotel, great staff and beautiful view!!!

We stayed for 2 nights tat the Trolltunga hotel. Supposed to be 1 night but booked another night last minute hence got 2 different rooms. The first room was a double plus (last room available). It was located on the ground level. Very clean, had a mountain view (top half of window) and half the glass was frosted so people cannot peep into our room. The amenities are very basic, the rooms are clean. They have a hair dryer and for toiletries it is just 1 shower gel/shampoo dual purpose. Towels are provided. The second night we got shifted upstairs to a mountain & lake view which I loved! The room was still basic. I loved the view outside the property, its nature 360 degrees! Sit anywhere around the small property n enjoy the great view. The breakfast was really good too. Fresh pancakes (loved it), cakes, etc. Would stay here again for the service, property view and bf!

The hotel was away from the main town, and the room had outstanding views.

The hotel has basic accommodations and is very clean. Staff is amazing, friendly and helpful. The restaurant is fantastic!!! A bit pricey but totally worth it!

The staff was quite helpful with directions and suggestions. We appreciated the wholesome breakfast! We were surprised and happy to get clean towels our 2nd day! The location was perfect for us as it is a very short walk to bus stop for bus to Trolltunga and another bus stop when we needed bus 930 back to Bergen.

The room was minimal in size for two beds and two people, but it had a kettle plus coffees Eric with the other 3 hotels we stayed in did not have. Take earplugs as if you have a room on the road side it is very noisy with the window open. Nice outdoor terrace next to raging river. Excellent breakfast with a very wide choice.

The hotel level as well as room level and condition was somehow disappointed. The location of the hotel by the river and fjord is a plus. The terrace of the restaurant by the river and fjord has amazing view.

Really added to the Trolltunga hike experience. Great food in the restaurant.

Nice hotel with a beautiful view. Personally I love the interior style. The room was small, but with a smart layout it had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

The beds are extremely small, more like cots. The room temperature could not be adjusted. There were windows one could open to help cool the room, however, spiders made them home so we felt it unsafe to open. Lastly, when showering, the drain worked slowly and the bathroom flooded. Would not recommend.
