I didn’t get a room, hotel was overbooked and I was turned away and my reservation not honored.

The used bar of soap from the previous guest was still in the shower soap dish with their pubic hair on it. The shower water handle was coming apart. Some thing is leaking in the ceiling because the water damage is obviously getting worse. Rusty light fixtures, pool was dirty like the furniture in the common areas. Tile and grout were dirty.

Always a good experience with Marriott

Looking around at other hotels I feel this is the best choice

I enjoyed our stay. This is a normal location upon returning home for family events. The one strange thing I encountered was that the bathroom door would not open without hitting the toilet. Rm 105

Needed a crib and they brought one up and had plenty of space for it in the room

Floors, both hard surface & carpets dirty & littered. Furniture in public areas stained. Litter around the property & parking lot. I know it’s hard to keep up on it because of the wind, but indoors should be easier.

The room was dirty, there were panties in the closet. Told front desk person but no one seemed to care. For the price you pay for this hotel is a rip off!

Our room was clean and breakfast area was clean and nice but the elevator was disgusting. The room was tiny.

A realy good place near the White Sands NP

Staff was great but hotel badly needs a facelift. Everything was rundown and room showed a lot of damage. Ok for one night but probably better options for the price

This was a nice hotel and a good value. Next time we go to White Sands we will stay here. The room was clean and spacious, and they had a decent free breakfast. Only downside for our particular stay was we didn't have hot water one night (staff immediately offered to come check) and the remotes were a bit wonky/in need of new batteries.

Very clean. Nice room. Did come and take off the door on cabinet. Was off hinges when we walked in.

We reserved a room for 3 people but they gave us one with a king bed only. We went back down to reception and as soon as the lady saw it was reserved via a third party, she immediately took the attitude that nothing can be done, even though she could see that the reservation was for 3 people. At first she said there were no other rooms available, then after a while it turned out there was one available that could sleep 2 so we could take the second room but we’d have to pay for it. Eventually she called her manager and we got the second room for free. What got me was that as soon as she saw it was booked via hotels dot com, she said we’d have to contact them. When we book via hotels dot com they contact the hotel for available rooms and to book the room, so if the hotel is allowing the reservation for the room for 3, then surely the hotel has some responsibility. Other than that, my towel was thread bare in places, the shower was luke warm and there is only one small lift which didn’t work when it was busy.

Clean and friendly however it was def wear down Marriott however is the best hotel to stay at in alamgordo

Great location for White Sands National Park.

An older property that is a bit tired. We stayed two nights. Staff is friendly, but we had no maid service and there was a used towel on the bathroom door when we arrived. Kitchen help had to locate the desk clerk for check out. This Fairfield property did not live up to my previous experience with Marriott.

This place is warn out the bathroom ceiling was coming down from water damage. The tile is cracked and moving as you stepped on it . Most of the grout was kissing in the floor tile. Terrible for the money I had to pay. Definitely not what you would expect at a Marriott location.
