Weather is so good for us. Check in and out service is fast and convenient. Room is clean and comfortable. There is a small problem with the faucet of the lavabo it needs to be fixed for stronger water supply.

Beautiful grounds! The room was nice enough but being on the ground floor we had a lot of noise from the room above

The place is overpriced for the quality of rooms. Beds were very uncomfortable. Also, the dinner at the restaurant was pathetic. Pasta was horrible and inedible. When we told the server, she said that it is fresh parmesan taste. Huh! Rest of the food was below par. I would not recommend this place for stay or food.

I was gives a ground level room overlooking a passage between buildings, It only had thin see through type curtains and no drapes, essentially leaving the inside on full display when the lights are on. Not a comfortable situation, especially not for a woman alone in the room. The doors have old fashioned keys and no security chains or bolts. The door is to an open corridor facing the woods.

A ver nice hotel in Baddeck. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. It is a large hotel for town and a favorite of bus tours it appears.

Very nice hotel grounds, friendly people, decent rooms (Motel Style), beds cozy, pillows should be improved, lots of parking.

Beautiful property and grounds. Dining was convenient and very good, offering both breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. I wish the coffee provided in the rooms was a better quality.

The room was clean and comfortable with adequate space. The location was good; close to dining choices with great views. The quality of television picture and choices of channels was very poor. The internet was not good at all, with frequent complete loss of coverage. Repeated complaints to the staff resolved nothing. We would expect with the size of the facility, as well as catering to tour buses, that the amenities would be of high quality. Quite disappointing for the price!

The location was perfect, the accommodations were clean, well maintained and comfortable and the service was good for our needs. We were there to explore the west side of Cape Breton and used the site to clean ourselves up and rest. There are some minor signs of the age of the place, but they don’t detract from the overall feel of the space. The staff were helpful when we asked for a 3rd set of towels for our kid. The a/c unit was very loud while we were sleeping and there were cobwebs and some bugs in the interior common corridors, we did try a meal from the restaurant and it was good, but we found it a little bland for our tastes in a Indian cuisine. We think the food is probably prepared for the majority of the older clientele visiting this area.

Good property with park like grounds. Rooms are clean. Toiletries and supplies minimal and miniature sizes, could be more generous. Breakfast for a charge leaves much to be desired. Cheap cafeteria quality, day old quality baking and basket of pre toasted cold bread. 1 watermelon fruit selection. They’d do better to up their game or not offer at all. Clearly a cash grab for hostage guests as there are no convenient options for guests in the morning ready to continue on with their journey. Staff training could be more professional. Seems like a family run operation with mandate to cut cost beyond reasonable.

The dinning was very basic and we were put in a room near the kitchen with bad smells and noisy. The hair dryer did not work and the room was really small. I wouldn’t stay here again given all the other local options

Amazing hotel with a pretty decent restaurant. Our room was clean, had a great view overlooking the beautifully maintained flower garden at the hotel. Hotel area, lobby, staff are very welcoming. There is certainly some room for improvements in the rooms but overall an A rating for the price we paid. Parking can be challenging as the spots are a bit tight so park in the front if you have a bigger vehicle. Convenient location near the lake, amazing Alexander Bell Museum (do not miss this) and the Cabot Trail.

Very convenient location and in a nice spot. The staff were efficient and friendly. The room was pretty good but dated. The beds were rock hard and the bathroom was not particularly clean. Missing tiles and the sink was ancient. We ate dinner at the restaurant which was excellent. Fantastic service, delicious fresh bread and massive portions.

No elevator in where we stayed, this should be listed in room facility. Good thing that we were able to switch room to main floor. The shower in the washroom is weak. Spider web at the frond of room entrance door and I got bite by mosquito. Understood that the Inn located in sort of outside city area, so all the lines above are more of my opinions not really a complaint. However, Inn's the landscape is beautiful.

Nice area but very dated hotel. In much need of renovations. There was mould around the ice machine, and the shower had practically no pressure. Will not return

The staff was fantastic, specifically Ali and Waheb. They were so helpful and affable. The beds and pillows were clean and very comfortable.
We couldn't block out the bright light outside the hotel because the drapes could not be closed in order to cover up the shears.This made sleep difficult. This needs to be remedied.
