I liked my stay.
There is 1 thing I would have liked. At Holiday Inn, they give you door sign saying "I have popped out".
I think you should have these too, so you will know who is off site.

Room so nice and so was the bathroom. Room had no big light in just little lamps everywhere, so it was quite dim. Bit of black around the window bed was really noisey and sounded like it was falling apart. However we have atayed here previously with no issues and we would stay again.

Handy location for centre of Lincoln. Car parking ok at £15 per day. Breakfast was fine and went to 10 am which suited us. Room and bathroom were fine. Only negative was room not cleaned or towels changed during our stay despite being out most of the day so had to reuse damp towels next day. Check in was very quick. Overall everything was fine and would stay again.

On arrival the staff were very helpful and efficient. Our room was more than expected as we were given an upgrade. The cleanliness of the hotel was very good also the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice.

Great location, the design of the hotel means you won’t get a river view without paying the big bucks. We had a family room which was a good size. The bed was massive with good pillows. We found the mattress too firm. Our 14 year old son (man size) has become used to being offered an inadequate pull out bed with paper thin mattress. This is common wherever we stay unfortunately for kids. The room and bathroom were very clean with a good quality shower. It had a broken fixture on the wall. But helpful staff when we asked for a fan. The room temperature was controlled in the room but we like a fan. The room was also very quiet.
The breakfast was a good buffet with fresh fruit and pastries aswell as a cooked selection. Nice view from the 5th floor restaurant. Overall a pleasant stay.

We stayed on the 3rd floor and there was so much noise from the 4th floor it was like constantly moving furniture. This was at 22:00. I called reception and they said there was a function on till midnight. No apology. Horrendous night. The pillows were really flat without any other options. Not like Premiere Inn

Standard room was reasonably sized and pretty clean although under the beds could have done with vacuuming.
Good breakfast options.
All members of staff I encountered (Reception, housekeeping, restaurant at breakfast) were super - professional, friendly , polite and helpful.

Whilst the location of the hotel is lovely and the suite was clean, plus we were able to check in 20m before 3pm which was helpful, the rooms had the most horrific smell in them. We raised with reception who sent someone to smell it and the housekeeping team - who confirmed that smell is there quite regularly. She just left us a bottle of air freshener and said use it as needed. It was awful - to the point it made us feel sick overnight. The team were good enough t oconfirm they would arrange a partial refund to compensate but wanted to share as it seems this was not a one off.

Hotel interior is a little tired. My bedroom had several stains on the carpet, the bathroom wasn't particularly clean and the bath/shower tap was rusting. Pillows weren't very comfortable which redulted in a night of broken sleep.

The size of the room was good , but poor lighting and my husband was cold during the night but there was no extra blankets in the wardrobe. Asked for delivery cafe tea, but did not have any.

Unfortunately we had to cancel this stay as i was admitted to Grimsby A&E after a collapse and fall in Louth. I was admitted overnight as a precaution. I wondered as a refund is not allowed if a voucher for another stay in future would be available

Rooms are excellent and good value. The reception was always deserted though and breakfast wasn’t great. The coffee machine was broken for example.

The bed was the worst bed I have ever slept in, tried asking to sort and they offered another duvet to put on top of this. But hopefully this is just room 203, because the last 2 stays were great, really great service, just a shame about this occasion

We were travelling on two motorbikes and to be kind to other hotel guests we put both bikes in one space only to find in the morning we HAD to pay for two bikes seperately £16.00 each. The only replt was we dont own the carpark. Well Hilton we both own companies and will not stay at a hilton ever again.

The carpets were dirty and the people in the adjoining room kept trying to get into our room at 4 am because they were drunk

My only criticism was that I paid for a "superior" room therefore was expecting a room with a decent view of the wharf but instead I got a room that was no different in standard to the rooms I have had when previously staying there.

Air con stuck in heating mode, so couldn't get the room cool even though temp was set to 16. Came back from dinner to find it had set itself to 24, room booking hot and unable to cook as it won't go into cooking mode.
Hotel itself is fine. Nothing special and don't expect a view - room windows are tiny and for good reason, you have a view either of the Holiday Inn car park or of the side of a block of flats across a narrow alley.

Left an item of jewellery on bedside table. Rang to collect. Housekeeping said it wasn’t there. Thieving. Wouldn’t recommend
