Very noisy very early in the morning with people keep talking loudly next door (might have been poor sound proof of this hotel too). When we went to breakfast everything was out and one staff had to serve over 30 customers. Things were very chaotic and we were told we all had to wait for refill which took 15min

Rayo was great during check-in. As good as any member of staff we have ever interacted with in a hotel. Thank you Rayo. Room was good. Bar service was slow on Sat night without it being overly busy. Breakfast was manic, drinks machines weren't working, not enough tables and ended up on 'lounge'style seats rather than a dining table, and food was average. It says 'complimentary' but it's actually included in the price of the room and I was aware of that when I booked so I expected a breakfast similar to other hotels, which are cheaper but then charge for the breakfast. This definitely wasn't the case. The area around the hotel was rough. Rubbish everywhere, lots of traffic on the road, smell of drugs around the people on the street and because we were walking it felt somewhat unsafe.

Stayed here after seeing Texas at the Utilita arena. £6 taxi to /from the train station and walking distance to arena. Friendly / welcoming staff. Great breakfast selection. Really quiet room, nice and comfortable.

This hotel has friendly staff. The cleanliness was fine. Access to the City Centre could not be faulted. However, it lacks choice in respect of breakfast and evening meals. The overall presentation needs improvement. In addition there seems to be a lack of local eateries around the hotel.

Room was great, staff were helpful and smiling. Unfortunately the bed linen was a bit marked/stained and had fluff ( obviously washed with something fluffy) Sadly only noticed as i was climbjng into bed!

Room was clean and comfortable but cold and the air con/ heater was very noisy. Easy to get to from New Street Station by the tram which stopped right by the hotel.

The hotel management was bad. The breakfast buffet was completely mismanaged, there were no cups for coffee, the breakfast items were not getting refilled. Everyone just kept waiting!! Extremely disappointing!

Room was spacious and clean. Bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast on the second day was not great, most of the food had finished, the staff did not refill the empty food trays plus there was no cups or glasses for guest to have a drink. We had to ask staff to bring out more. Very disappointed.

Welcome host on our night of arrival was not very welcoming. Other staff we met during our stay was better. Sofa in the room we stayed in was so old and uncomfortable. The bottom surround kept fallinging off and had old black gaffa tape on it attempting to cover gaping holes. Personally I would remove it completely and maybe attach a velcro tear away cover that matches or add a pop of colour to the sofa. Room was clean enough though that sofa, along with the black mold/mildew in the shower sealant made us not feel it was clean enough. Remember to dust under the TV. Property from outside looked very dated though ok. Dinning and bar space was lovely. Need better organisation of breakfast time or sufficient staffing. Lots of us left waiting for a long time for some items. Staff were friendly though and clearly stretched. Standard room that met our needs for the weekend.

They had to change our room as the TV and AC wasn’t working! So they did so and the lady was very nice and helpful. She came and helped us (didn’t catch her name- she looked Latina/Spanish) The only downside was the waffles for breakfast. We even cooked them for longer but it still tasted undercooked not sure why. But apart from that nice hotel and right next to tram stop

Hotel was generally fine, we were just stopping for one night. Having to pay for the parking was a bit annoying but on street parking is free after 6pm. My biggest issue was the comfort of the beds. It was so uncomfortable, you could feel the springs. This is the second time I have stayed here and I thought the last time I had just happened to be bad luck but I did mention it to the reception when we left. Having come back again this year, I can’t believe it’s happened again - they must generally have bad quality beds in all the rooms. I literally did not sleep all night. Other than that, it is clean, fine location and the breakfast is nice too.

The hotel is clean and tidy but looking very tired and could do with some investment and a deep clean of the carpets ..... The bed was very soft and lumpy.......hotel is a good location to the arena and the town

Had a nice 2 night stay at this hotel with my mum. The hotel is 20 minutes walk from the station but was easy enough to get to. Room was very comfortable with 2 nice big beds and the WI-FI was working well. Had an issue with the drain in the bathroom but got fixed for the 2nd night. Breakfast was ok but the staff was struggling to fill things up in time at get the tables cleaned so a bit chaotic. However overall good value for money compared to other hotels in Birmingham.

Easy access to Birmingham next to tram, breakfast is busy if you go late .but would recommend it if you not out late as a good place to stay

It’s very convenient. Good to have breakfast in the morning with various options. Quiet place to sit in bar and relax.

Lack of close parking.

Friendly staff. Clean room with a minibar to keep drinks cool. Pillows looked nice, puffy, and big but felt too thin and not firm enough. Excellent breakfast included in the price with hot and cold options and waffles were a nice bonus

We booked in was given our room . It was a accessible room due to wheelchair. On entry to the room we noticed there was a lot of flying ant in the room. Ant's crawling on the floor.went back to reception to say about this. Was told no more accessible rooms left. So given a room that you could get the wheelchair in just about. Couldn't get into the bathroom at all. So went back to reception to say this room was no good. Spent another 20 to 30 minutes with someone else at reception. They found another accessible room on another floor went to check if it was suitable for us. It was suitable as we have stayed in this room many time's.

From Birmingham New street take the tram to St Paul’s 4 stops or under a mile to walk Breakfast very good Hotel clean Good at the right price.

Breakfast included was a bonus. Everything worked as it should. 2 hotels with the same name caused inconvenience Some staff's English wasn't good and made a few things difficult. No onsite parking was a bit of a pain.

Convenient hotel for event at Villa Park. Caught the bus 5minute walk down the road, looked up times on west midlands bus services. Got an uber back to hotel which took abit longer due to conjestion from event but to be expected. Probably one of the more basic hilton hotels but still lovely and provided a nice room with breakfast. Would stay again.
