I contacted the B&B to arrange a late check in due to our ferry arriving after the normal time, and Lyn couldn’t have been more helpful. Come the day, the ferry got delayed for 2 hours due to a storm and again Lyn was so helpful and happy to wait for us which was a great relief for our first night away as a family. The B&B itself was spotlessly clean, well appointed and obviously I can’t speak highly enough of the owners. We only stayed a few hours due to the delay and moving on again the next morning, so a flying but fantastic visit with a great full Irish breakfast to set us up for the day!

Friendly owner and family. Charming location nestled by sheep, with views of the mournes and close to town for restaurants. Breakfast was in a lovely conservatory with views and was plentiful. The room is so, so clean. Just a lovely spot that I highly recommend.

Our stay at the Mourneview B&B was perfect! We came to visit my husband’s extended family for the first time. Our room was spotless and the bathroom was updated. Each morning we were greeted with a delicious full breakfast of eggs, bacon and sausage, and if you didn’t want a full breakfast there was plenty to choose from the breakfast bar of cereal, yogurt and delicious croissants! Linda was so helpful with making our accommodations! When we return to Carlingford, this is where we will stay again! Highly recommended! The Longs!

The house was perfect with stunning views onto the mountains, fields and water. Immaculately clean and well decorated. Surprisingly, the place can accommodate more than we thought with 12 rooms. We highly recommend 😊

It was a lovely big house with fantastic views of the Mourne mountains. The breakfast room was lovely and had lovely views. I didn’t find the owners particularly friendly. I feel they could have made an effort to be friendlier on our arrival and while giving us our breakfast.

We had breakfast looking out onto a field with sheep and cows. Carlingford was 1.2 mile drive away and Dundalk was also a nice town to visit close by. The only fault would be that the mattress we had wasn’t very firm.

Amazeing nicest b&b ever stayed, Lyn and johnny made our stay couldn't do enough for us, we took my mum back to the village for her birthday as she lived there as a little girl she is now 81 very emotional but my mum loved it, we will return and will stay at Mourneview would not stay anywhere else Thankyou to Lyn and johnny for makeing are holiday so special beautiful place to stay xxx
