Unbelievably filthy. Black mold in the shower. Leftover food on the floors. Stains and footprints! on the ceiling. Front desk failed to ask anything about our stay and didn’t give us the time of day. Hi and bye were about all that was said to us, but made sure they had a credit card on file that was certain. The room smelled like mold, just plain and simple, and I have photos to prove that the cleanliness was below acceptable standard at best. Stayed for 1 night, and thank goodness it was just that. Oh, and may want to remove the used contraceptives from the parking lot.

They gave us a room next to the elevator and there must have been fat children above us cause I have never experienced so much noisy annoying banging, jumping and running around in my entire life at a hotel. It was to the point where we complained twice (of course nothing was done). They did let us stay an extra hour (big whoop). I like it there but not a very good experience. Also I now know I hate odd room numbers because of the way the room is set up. Im not sure if I will go up. Its should be no more than $99 a night there. Thats all it worth. P.s. the bathroom was really weird.

Holiday Inn has been our first choice for many years. But surprisingly this time in Buffalo a very new experience… A lady in food section was sooooo rude…… We just asked a question for that she started yelling at me….. Please don’t hire people like this. Hospitality is the top priority in your industry. Hiring people like this spoils your reputation.

Carpets are dirty and smell, they should be cleaned or better replaced

Room had really bad smell. Dirty carpet and dirty chair. Try to take shower and body wash bottle was empty. Really bad experience with Holiday Inn

The toilet 🚽 was loose. Rocked. Black mold and previous personal short hairs on floor near shower. The towels were super thin. Positive note. Breakfast was good and area very clean … Very helpful staff there. Front desk personnel was absent more than present. Needed a bell to ding

This is my first review ever… the most dirty hotel I’ve ever seen and I travel from coast to coast for work. They NEVER wash anything. Hallways smell like baby powder. You can see hair grease running off the wall over the pillows, cups/hand marks on the grease on the night table and you feel it under your feet when walking. After asking for a second room that new room had literal feces in the toilet and when I flushed was clogged. I slept in my truck. Horrible experience.

Staff were amazing and were super quick to resolve any issue. My room was nice and clean. The bathroom didn’t have an air vent for some reason and to flush the toilet we had to flip the switch up. They provided any amenities if we ever needed. Hotel breakfast was included. There was a gym and indoor pool. Very nice area in general

Larger rooms than expected. Location is great, lots of shopping but set back off busy road so quiet. Like that full service restaurant very short walk from hotel. Recently installed EV chargers.

We had a situation with the guess next door to our room. The guy was intoxicated, screaming, swearing and treating someone. I requested reception to address the situation , she was by herself covering all the hotel areas and told me she could not come until she was able to close the doors. We felt unsafe, ended leaving the hotel at 7 pm after 3 long hours of stress. She said she couldn’t change our room, nor put me in contact with the hotel management. Even worse, she said she would not be able to do our check out, on Saturday night. We were charged for that night . We couldn’t find another hotel so we ended driving back to Toronto. Complained to Expedia which contacted the hotel asking to refund the night without any positive outcome. I guess better safe than sorry but extremely dissatisfied and disappointed on the Expedia-Holiday Inn experience in Buffalo. A weekend that supposed to be a relaxing experience ended being a very stressful and expensive experience.

it was very clean!

Double room was booked well in advance and paid in-full as to secure my booking. Upon arrival (~5pm) os the Saturday evening, I was advised there were no double rooms available? As I stood there in confusion, I was asked to move aside while the clerk checked-in two more parties before re-addressing my issue. Two King beds rooms were offered in lieu for my family to split us amongst the two rooms.

Smoke alarm went off at night when I was asleep. Could not fall get back to sleep. Mentioned this to front desk at check out. She was unapologetic, and unsympathetic. I WILL NOT BE BACK, AND MAY NEVER CONSIDER STAYING AT THIS CHAIN AGAIN DUE TO THIS EPISODE.

Likes- amazing breakfast, proximity to walden galleria and other shops, spacious room Dislikes- carpet cleaning being inconvenient and dangerous as it also made our floor wet when the cleaner was being removed, we almost fell.

Breakfast was great and the location was close to Rt. 90 which was perfect. There were a few small issues with the staff and the facility but it was a good price, so it was worth it.

I booked two room, and called to confirm they would be connected. When i got there, they were not connected and they didnt seem to care about my inconvenience.

I liked our room it was well kept and really had no issues with it.
