Great football ⚽ themed hotel with views of Old Trafford Stadium from our window. Breakfast was very good and staff was very helpful. If you or your child is a Man United fan, Hotel Football and the Old Trafford Stadium tour is a must!

It was a pleasant stay with good beds and good service. My partner was thrilled with the football theme and even got to see a retired United player at breakfast. It’s a short walk from the nearest tram stop, which you can take to the city center with a change in the middle. The TV can be used to watch football but the lag and quality was bad and you can’t stream from your phone, so a trip down to the lobby is needed. The mini fridge/cooler is stocked with candy and water for free, but it was lukewarm. But that’s the only negatives I can think of. The breakfast was great, the staff was helpful and the room was clean and a nice size for two people.

This still is my favourite place to stay due to location and facilities available, but out of courtesy I feel I should provide constructive feedback: 1. CAFE/RESTAURANT - not sure why but tables are always sticky, like they were not cleaned properly or cleaned with just a damp cloth. This is not only my last stay, I noticed this during my 2 previous stays. 2. ROOM/TV- although you are one of few hotels I visited to provide all (even paid) sport channels your TV's need updating. My room had two tv remotes, non of them worked properly, TV /BOX kept freezing so after 3 reboots I gave up trying to watch TV.

It's a great hotel, with staff being a consistent highlight. The gym is a bit disappointing, and the restaurant, the only immediately available option, is a bit one-dimensional.

Stayed for one night while watching a gig at old trafford. Perfect location.

Amazing hotel staff are really welcoming, the rooms are spotless and really liked the note left by staff in the room, we were there to see foo fighters and were so happy to see the pictures that had been left out for us as a keepsake with a welcome message on the back Thank you so much guys for a lovely stay will defo be visiting again if the opportunity comes

Great location for football or cricket grounds! Has its own secure parking. Really clean, staff were friendly, great choice’s for breakfast & bar drinks! We didn’t use public transport, but there are plenty options around to get about. Large supermarket 10mins walk away & choice of takeaway foods around 5-10min walk

We had an amazing stay at Hotel Football. We were made to feel really welcome upon checking in. The room (201) was fantastic, with a great view of Old Trafford and the river. There were complimentary snacks and water in the mini fridge and a couple of free drink vouchers on the table. There was also 2 nice Foo Fighters postcards which was a nice touch! We were attending a gig at the cricket ground and the hotel is ideally placed for a short walk to and from. It is only 5 minutes walk from a tram stop, with Media City just over the bridge. The bed was so comfortable and the rainfall shower was amazing and spacious. The TV had sport channels. We had breakfast too which was lovely, a full English with continental. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone, especially if you are attending an event or want to be close to Media City.

We were attending a gig at Old Trafford Cricket and for this the location was perfect! 10 min direct walk. Tricky finding the car park as its away from the hotel, so do your research before you set off, the staff however when I called to ask about it were excellent. Talking me through directions and meeting us at the front of the hotel. Only disappointment in the stay was the twin beds when a double room was booked, but only for 1 night and I'm sure if I'd complained it wouldve been sorted. Breakfast was lovely, cooked to order and staff really helpful. If your a Man U fan, youd love the view we had from our room! Straight onto the stadium entrance. Our kids will love the complementary sweets provided in the mini fridge! Thank you

Staff very helpful and personable. Room very clean everything we needed for overnight stay in comfort. Bonus view over old Trafford, as it was the reason for the visit. Good breakfast

Great hotel. Very clean and modern. Rooms come with fridge full of complementary snacks for kids and water. Gated Parking opposite £10 per night. You have to drive past the hotel and double back to get to it. Look out for a large green gate. Press buzzer to connect to reception for entry. Exit gate on the right hand side, look for a button on the wall below to unlock the gate. 20second walk across to the hotel. Sports bat downstairs food was good and prompt as was service. service. Really lovely hotel apart from one massive fault. The bedroom doors are the noisiest doors that slam hard unless you have kind guests who shut slowly. Got zero sleep because doors were banging through the night and early in the morning. Seems like a huge oversight in the design. Massive bonus was the view of Old Trafford. Breakfast was nice, if a little pricey. Loads of free treats in the room mini fridge was a lovely touch.

Great place! Wonderful stay. Hostess Lauren was wonderful and Link at the bar was a blast!

Stay was ok hotel very expensive so not worth the price for what you get in terms of stay. Room nice view of stadium but no better size wise that budget hotels. Overpriced for what you get and not hood value for money. Car park full with cars using car park not in relation to hotel. Breakfast ok, buffet area needs good clean.

Loved the hotel, parking a little annoying across the road as it was raining but not a big deal really.

The reception staff was wonderful and made up for the fact that the restaurant cooks were nasty and seemed bothered... I took my son for a lifelong dream of his to see a match for his birthday and they don’t have any tree nut safe options for dessert . A big chain such a Marriott should make sure all of their hotels are equipped with allergy free items to celebrate occasions . I blame the company more than the rude staff .. That being said , all the reception staff went ABOVE and beyond to make it up and made my sons birthday memorable and were so kind . Wonderful front staff !!

We loved HF’s football themed offering, and the kids enjoyed playing football at Heaven with OT in the backdrop..
