It is near to junker walk, just within 2-3km, around 5 to 10 minute car distance. can park car at private car park before the junker walk(inside is hard to get parking). there have a nice japanese restaurant beside the hotel. reasonable price and high quality food.

The small lighting beside the bed on the small has spoilt. Please check all the things inside the room are functionable before letting the guess to stay. In the toilet, there is water leaking below the basin. Overrall, ok but pls check all the facilities inside the room and make sure no water pipe leaking inside the toilet.

Ground floor room has roaches, surprised to see mould in cup. Room not able to lock from inside due to spoiled lock. Not recommended to family.

The air conditioner in the first room we were placed sounded like a lawnmower. We asked to change rooms, which the front desk immediately provided. The air condition in the second room was just as loud. The air conditioning units are some generic, no name brand and unacceptably noisy. Malaysia is a very hot and humid country and most of the time the air conditioner needs to be switched on. I had to stick toilet paper in my ears just to get to sleep.The cleanliness was below average as well. We will not be staying here again.

The only think we were dissapointed was the unavailibilty of breakfast near the hotel. We had to skip that till lunch. The hotel should provide body soap and hair shampoo to say the least.

The hotel is new and clean. Check in time is fast and the staffs are friendly. Surrounding hotel have many restaurants. Have sufficient parking space. Free wifi provided for every each room but the line was not stable. The air conditioning was not cold and the bed is small. However, I will still recommend this hotel.

Hotel provide extra bed for my 2 years old kids without extra charges is a plus. Room size is ok and quite comfortable. Nice to stay!

Quite convenient provided transport available as it is centre to all the tourist interest, about 5-10 mins drive distance for each location. Clean, comfortable and economical.

We took a few rooms on the second floor for a night stay the past week. Not sure if we were the only ones that complaint but the water pressure pump was making intermittent "clunk clunk" with its pipes. This was going on all throughout the night whenever the water supply was being used within the building which was very very annoying.

What to expect if you're booking a room at the budget hotels? For me, i just need a clean one! Overall, you get what you pay. Just need a place to sleep and to clean myself after a long day. I just wish the bathroom interior is better. It just doesn't suit me. :p

We had a great time and stay at AL 33 Leisure Hotel. It a budget hotel very good for short stay. Basic needs are provided for. The location is convenient if you drive. Plenty of parking space just outside the hotel. For the price we paid for, it is absolutely value for money. I will recommend my relative and friends to stay and I will return to this hotel if visit Melaka again. Front office staff and cleaner were responsive. Its a short drive to Jonkers, Makota Parrade and to Ong Kim Wee (satay celup). Even provided Cable TV channels. The bed is super comfortable, nice décor and spacious room space. Room and bedsheets were clean. Overall has a new feel. The view was great and environment is quiet and peaceful. Overall SUPER.

Facilities stated in Expedia deal include hair dryer. There wasn't a hair dryer in the hotel room. When I requested for a hair dryer at the reception counter I was told no hair dryer was available. Also, no shower cap was provided.

So far the hotel is nice but will disturb by noisy noise from the road if your room facing the main road.

I've booked a Superior Room but on that night when I arrived, I was given a Standard Room instead. Too tired from driving we just call it a night until we wake up next in the morning then realise is not the room we see on expedia.

My stay at AL33 was very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs. Great food stalls within one block walking distance from the front door of the property. Bikes for rent at the front desk . Overall a great value!

The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom was small but clean. I wished there is a partition to separate the shower and the toilet. There was no elevator and we had to carry out luggage to the 2nd floor and sometimes the door card did not work and we had to run down and up again.The distance to Jonker Street was about 20 minutes walk over uneven pathways. There is a bus No. 17 to Jonker Street and Melaka Central that can be flagged in front of the hotel but the wait time can be lengthy.
