3 stars because they dont tell you their is a charge for parking. A hotel room should come with free parking, thats aburd. 30$ to park at a hotel I paid for is unacceptable

Nice hotel in downtown Louisville within easy walking distance of several bars and restaurants. We stayed there because we were doing a date night cooking class which is held in an offshoot of the hotel itself. Very convenient! Nice bar and rooftop restaurant on the 8th floor as well. Self parking was $22

Little unsafe area. But not awful.

Was fine. Was disappointed that my window shade wouldn’t go up so I had a dark room all day. There was not a way to put it up as they’ve transitioned to an electronic system. Which would work as long as it wasn’t broken like it was. Some staff was incredibly kind, but some really seemed like they didn’t my want to be there. Wish breakfast was free, but it is what it is. Everything else was fine. Not great, not terrible, just fine.

There were "fancy" electric window shade operators which didn't work on 2 of 2 windows. Homeless people were camped out beneath our window (2nd floor) and seemed to be in an arguement all night, every night. Cleanliness was far from the standards of Hilton which I'm accustomed to. We spent 2 nights for a convention and never used our vehicle which was parked in their lot. I was in shock to find out there was a $53 parking fee due at the end of our stay for using the Hilton parking garage. That was a first for this world traveler to be charged for on site parking. The girl at the front desk could certainly use some training in hospitality and courteousy when greeting guests. The exterior of the front entrance was absolutely filthy to the point of wanting to walk tiptoed over the threshold. The courtesy van had a broken handle on the sliding door for guest entrance, requiring us to enter the front and crawl up and over the front seat (we ain't young) for entering and exiting. The one plus I'll give the place was the 2 shuttle drivers James and Roderick were very accommodating and courteous.

Convenient location

Chose this hotel because of the excellent rating. This goes to show that ratings are definitely not always accurate. The lobby was nice but the room was rundown and shabby. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were terrible. Did not get maid service or fresh towels. Had to go to the front desk to get towels. The view was absolutely terrible. The parking garage was nasty and lacked any security at all. It’s ridiculous to pay what I paid for a room in a hotel that was rated excellent and still have to pay 22 a day for parking in a garage that was disgusting and not secure at all. Absolutely will not stay here again.

I tried to check in when I arrived at 12:00 knowing that they may not have any rooms available, which is typically not an issue. The front desk attendant told me that I could not and had to wait until 3:00. Fairly cold about it too. I was traveling with the boss and the person wasn't helpful at all to him either. THE OTHER front desk attendants on duty after 3:00 were great, very helpful.

For a room costing over $300/night this place is not worth it. This goes on our "One & Done" list.

We always stay here when we visit Louisville. Love the rooftop and location, close to all of our favorite places. Will continue to stay here when in town.

Tv cut out all night. Outlets didnt work.

Hotel was clean, staff friendly, great restaurant and rooftop bar. Was not aware that we had to pay to park, but the garage was easy to get in and out of, $22 a day. Upon check-in, we were told that breakfast was from 7-10, what we were not told was that breakfast was not included. When booking, just beware that you have to pay to park, and breakfast is not included. Knowing this, you may consider another place, but I’d stay here again.

Parking attendant and front desk clerk were helpful and friendly. Our room was nice but the bathroom was tiny and the bed was super uncomfortable. I woke up in pain after tossing and turning all night. Never saw anything past the front desk so can't comment on rest of hotel.

Clean, secure, quiet (even on a Saturday night). Staff at front desk were very helpful with special requests.

We arrived 45 minutes after check in time, and was told that the room was not ready and we had to take a seat in the lobby and she would call us when it was ready. We had to wait about 30 minutes, and in that time I saw the same thing happen to both couples that came in after us. She never apologize for our wait and wasn't welcoming or friendly in any way. As we came up to the desk to check out the next morning, this way the conversation: Yes Hello, we're checking out of room 311 Thank you (looking back down to what she was doing) Can I have a receipt please (because I was never given the cost total by anyone there) Printer is broke, it will be sent to your email. (Never looking up) We left, and as of now, 7 hours after check out, I haven't received anything by email but my card has been charged for 73.00 more then the price it said when I made the reservation, and I have no idea why, because I have no receipt. I guess I will have to call and see what is up. The room was clean but nothing note worthy. Can I have a receipt please

Beds weren’t the most comfortable but the location was convenient and the hotel/rooms were well maintained and clean.

The hotel is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. The only issue, and it’s a big one, is the rooftop bar. It was understaffed and very very slow. Service was terrible. There are twelve TVs outside and no one could turn them on or find the basketball playoffs. Horrible service.

Great staff and facility and convenient to the Palace Theater and other downtown locations. However, the foundation for the bed is terrible! It juts out in such a way that you're constantly hitting your shins on the dark colored corners. We finally took two pillows and put them at the corners of the bed platform to cover the corners that jut out and that solved the problem.

Breakfast and parking are not included, bed is uncomfortable. Clean, convenient location, rooftop restaurant on site.

Easy access off I65 and easy access back on. Central position to restaurants and venues. The room was quiet the beds were very comfortable. Everything really clean. I would stay again anytime.

While the staff was very helpful and kind. The noise and smell of the room was awful. I would not stay here again.

One of the worst hotels I ever visited. Dirty, broken doors, and lots more. The only good things I can tell is that there’s friendly staff, free coffee, and a little covered patio outside.

Nice and clean but a bit noisy. Cleaning crew was close and loud.

Even though we only stayed one night it was very nice. Very nice area full of restaurants and bars. Very clean and friendly. Will definitely stay here again.

The property was very clean and the bed was amazing!
