Arrived from New Zealand, I paid $25 online for my room, I arrived at 12 midnight. it was basic but clean in every way, 2 towels, soap, pillows and sheets perfect, bathroom / shower excellent and lashings of hot water, polite respectful receptionist, overall a great experience for the money, Metro is a 5 minute walk away Nothing fancy but well worth the money

2 days no WIFI was hard..rest ok.

This hotel isn’t particularly close to anything, but clean and safe go a long way. Keep in mind that this place also rents BY THE HOUR! So if passionate, and extremely happy noises at all hours are going to put you off your breakfast, look elsewhere.

The Corona is a contradiction. The owners spent a lot of money remodeling this hotel and the interior is very, very nice for such a budget hotel. But apparently, they got tired of replacing air conditioning controllers so they installed a control switch for each room in the reception area. The air conditioning either runs full blast, or not at all. They expect you to call down to to reception to tell them to turn it on and off. Incredible! I spent a very cold night (with no blanket on the bed provided) Why didn't they just screw new AC controllers onto the wall next to each bed so that they could not be removed? My room was in great condition, and the price was very low. Yet there were no hangers in the closet. The letters for the name of the hotel on the side of the building are falling off. I know that the hotel business is very difficult in Panama City. And the Corona is not in a great neighborhood. But with just a little more effort, I am sure it could be much more successful. I will not be going back because I had a terrible night sleep.

Anytime I have to stay in Panama City for a short spell I stay at this hotel. The rooms are tiny, but in great condition and always very clean. It is downtown in a safe area and for the price well worth it. If you are looking for a clean, safe, cheap option, this is it.

Here for 3 nights.staff were helpful.Metro 10 minutes walk. Not a good area at night. Reasonable overnight stop for the price

The hotel is not one where you lie back and relax. It is good for sleeping and the shower. After three nights, we stayed anotherbecause the price was right and we slept well.

Qe arrived late at night but the staff was very welcome and kind. You can buy beer, noodle, snacks at the reception. Check out time was at 2 pm. The only thing i thought they should improve was WIFI. In my room it was almost not working.

Great room for the price! Full shower, Queen bed ( firm mattress! ), great A/C.

We chose this hotel to spend a night between our flights Panama City/Bocas Del Toro and it was ok, especially for that price. The room is not really comfy but it is clean. I would not recommend it for a long stay but for one night only. The staff does not speak English but is really helpful.
