Awesome place

Clean rooms but there was no breakfast

Owner (Manger) is rude, but we stay there because it’s convenient and close to our ranch, plus it allows pets. It’s pretty clean, could use some paint. It’s quiet and ample parking and close to restaurants nearby!

I was with a large group of friends. We had 5 rooms. Some of the rooms were great, but some had issues. One room smelled of mold and one of my friends is now sick because of her allergies and the mold. One room complained that there appeared to be blood stains that had not been cleaned properly. Another room had the shower handle in the bathtub come off in her hands when trying to use it. The room with the walk-in shower was nice, but water flooded the whole bathroom when trying to use it. Also, a common complaint in all the rooms with bathtubs was there was no "non-skid" in the tubs making them very slippery and dangerous (one of our group fell, but was not hurt). It was a lot of little things.

The room was just what I needed at the last minute. Traveling with family and we needed a place to rest.

The bathroom door was dirty, and the more disappointed was that there was a very limited option for breakfast

Not really a good breakfast. No coffee or hot food. Ac not working well in the room, but the bed was good.

I booked two nights. They sold our second night despite confirmation of our room. A large company was coming to town and booked all of the rooms - even those already booked. I have no idea about the condition of the room because I never made it past the front desk.

Clean and really nice installations. Furniture and bedding in excellent conditions. Pet friendly but they charge $20 per pet.

Excellent service from property management. They are Very friendly and focused on the customer experience. I highly recommend the Scottish Inn in Cotulla.

This property is outstanding. I stay here often. The rooms are clean and well organized for work purposes. Good desk space for working on the computer. Bed is very comfortable for sleeping. The management is very responsive and willing to accommodate. I would rank property 5 of 5.

Would recommend to my friends to stay here when visiting cotulla. The family that owns the property are super friendly and willing to help me whatever needs or requests you may have!

Power and water were off, I understand the circumstances but the room wasn’t cleaned from previous guest, there was bottle caps on the furniture, stains in the sink of chewing tabaco, used coffee grinds on table, bed was made but you could tell it was used sheets, trash in bins, and clothes left behind. Plus attendant was really rude, despite the circumstances of of lack of basic services he couldn’t be bothered he was so intrusive.

First time staying at this location and surely won’t be the last as long as the price is right. For starters the price per night I was able to procure was just right. The suite was spacious and very clean and well maintenance. Wear and tear on the tables but that’s common I suppose. Bed was nice and comfy not too firm nor too soft. TV was nice but not enough channel selection to keep me entertained. Glad I packed my gaming system which allowed me to take full advantage of the super fast internet connection. And by fast I mean fast. So if connectivity is important for you, this is the place to stay. It’s an unsecured connection so pack a VPN. The parking lot was very well lit at night and even though during my stay not to many people were there, I felt overall safe. Two things that might be issues. One is the tub is very slippery. Especially if you use the provided soap as it contains a moisturizer that makes things worse. Another reviewer had mentioned that and I can confirm it. So just be cautious. Two, I am not sure how thick the walls actually are. As the hotel was mostly empty during my stay, I can’t confirm if sound travels between rooms therefore I couldn’t judge on the quiet factor. But I was able to hear the house keeping lady sing while she cleaned the room next to me. Maybe she has a high voice or the wall are thin. Either or I had a great stay and can’t really complain considering the price.
