Enjoyed our stay the room was very clean and day 2 they fully serviced our room..big tick. Bed was comfy we walked to town everything was close. Definitely will stay again when in New Plymouth.

Lovely people and cleaning staff beautiful units washing and drier facilities but washing machine needs upgrading convenient to shops and Centre city lovely bathroom products and tea and coffee with a touch of live biscuits chocolates and lollies

We booked Queen Spa Studio but we ended up staying at Queen split studio, which is $10.00 cheaper per night than Queen Spa. I didn’t realize that until I got home. That was terrible! If there was reason we needed to change the room, the owner should have explained to us before we stayed.

Ian and Helen make this a great place to stay! The Abode is perfectly located to be walkable to everything we visited. Grocery stores are across the street as well. The kitchenette is well stocked. Water pressure in the shower is strong and consistent. Overall, we highly recommend staying here.

The property is centrally located and was easy walking distance to both shopping and dining locations.
Our room was clean, well maintained, and it was also significantly larger than we expected which was nice. while it is on a pretty busy road we weren't impacted by any traffic noise in one of the back rooms.
If you are looking for somewhere central to town then definitely consider Abode on Courtenay Motor Inn, we will visit again.

It was an enjoyable one night stay bed was very comfortable and unit lovely and clean. A bit difficult to find entrance from the road. Overall we’d stay there again!

I come from a hotel background (although a VERY long time ago), and my mother (who I was travelling with), used to clean a local motel... And we were both ASTOUNDED by how immaculately clean this motel (especially our 2 bedroom unit) was.
