It was truly a wonderful experience! The suite exceeded my expectations, offering a remarkable amount of space and stunning decor that made me feel right at home. One downside, however, was the inadequate soundproofing between the rooms, likely a result of the building's. architecture. The noise level was quite noticeable; I could hear the rustling of the shades in the neighboring rooms, the footsteps of guests moving about, and even the faint sounds of doors shutting and sinks running. Despite this auditory distraction, I can't stress enough how delightful everything else was—truly an exceptional stay!

It was ok. The way the hotel / parking is laid out is confusing and cumbersome. My room had a window that looked into some weird hallway. The bed was uncomfortable because the mattress was old and slanted, not flat. There sheets and towels were nice.

The hotel was beautiful. Rooms were spacious with a great kitchen area. Location was great, close to restaurants and the hospital. We were only there one night, but would have loved to stay longer.

We had a great stay, really centrally located in town. The staff were really friendly and the room and hotel were very clean. The kids loved the saltwater pool.

The hotel was beautiful, the room was enormous and the separate seating area was amazing to get work done. It was very conveniently located to the Van Andel Arena, and service was amazing. We'll definitely stay here again, when we're in the area!

Our room was very nice and quiet, breakfast was great! Our room phone did not work from day one and we reported it to the staff and it was never fixed. Our key card NEVER worked in the parking garage, had to call the front desk every time to get out of the garage. They even rekeyed our card and it still didn’t work, very frustrating!

Restroom fan noisy. No shampoo in the shower. Floors and doors all squeaky.

This was my first trip to Grand Rapids and I was very disappointed. The hotel had no parking on site although the amenities list "parking available". The parking was in a parking garage around the corner from the hotel and you had to pay each day. At check in, the front desk staff where unhelpful, and unapologetic. I would not stay at this hotel again. .

We tried three times to resolve our issues with the front desk only to be told a manager was unavailable. Called corporate and left a message. The dishes were dirty in dishwasher the toilet seat was not attached to toilet , empty toilet paper rolls in bathroom ? We never experienced this at a Hilton . We are STILL waiting on a manager to return our call

We had an excellent stay! The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean. The area was walkable and had many options, although we didn’t feel super safe at night. We would absolutely recommend staying here!

First we got the worst suite possible, with a window out into a parking garage, with our window nose to nose with a parked SUV!! And tge room smelled like a basement, damp and nit nice. It also had strange steps down into the room, not leg-friendly. When we complained we got upgraded the second say to a fantastic suite, so much better! We are grateful but the first room should never have been rented out.

My friend had just recently had replacement knee surgery, so she & my other friend asked about ADA toilets. The gentleman at the desk did what he could to accommodate us and found up an upgraded room for the trip - at no extra cost. The room was fab. Unfortunately, the toilets still weren't ADA, but at least the shower was good for her. (We did find ADA toilets in the swimming pool restroom. Honestly, hotels have to do better about this. Yes, kids need shorter toilets, but older adults need the higher ones. Maybe provide stepstools for the kiddos, since increasing toilet height is a lot harder!)

Dishes and glasses were disgustingly dirty in the cupboards, wooden floors squeaked horribly, toilet did not flush, sink drained very poorly, ice maker did not stop after being shut off, made a terrible noise all night and couldn’t sleep. They couldn’t produce a second key card for our room. The mgr Dave could not produce a receipt for small purchases at the counter and continued to ignore my request for one stating, “you’re all good” repeatedly. He was obviously sick and coughing, sweating profusely. We bought a bag of pop corn from the front desk and it legitimately tasted a year old it was that stale and soft. The mattress on the bed was so soft it felt like we were sleeping on a bean bag. I canceled my second night and asked for a refund. I will never return and feel they should have even discounted my one night stay.

We booked a room with city view. This however means that you cannot sleep as the live music of restaurants/bars are extremely loud. After calling the front desk 4 times we were finally offered a different room. Kitchen is not fully equipped - e.g. we only had one spoon. We booked the hotel mainly for the location and bc it has a pool. The pool however was open only 1 day during our 7 day stay - first the pool got new water, then it had problems with some chemicals. In our room there were dog hairs all over the place. We would not book this hotel again.

Pretty upset no one mentioned the pool was going to be out of order for our stay. They closed the pool the day prior for the entire week, so our stay was pretty much ruined by this with zero warning or upfront notification from the property. Even at check-in the manager noted where the pool is then when going down to the pool we were met with a notice on the door that the pools closed...

I didn’t like paying 120.00 for parking the day I arrived and then getting a charge on my credit card for another $76.00 for parking.

A standard room shows its age a bit but overall nice!

The stay overall was great. However, one of the main reasons we booked was for the rooftop patio, which we learned once we got there that none of the hotel bars are open Sunday or Monday. We were very disappointed none of this information was available anywhere until we got there, as these were the only days we were there. The location is wonderful for other restaurants and bars, so it didn’t ruin the trip but I wish we knew!
