I truly enjoyed my time at On The Beach.

The room was spacious - first floor and easily accessible for my 87 year old mom. However there was no couch or coffee table in front area so you couldn’t watch TV/read with your feet up. Or socialize. There was another tv in bedroom area but that was right next to air conditioner and when that was running it was really hard to hear TV. We have stayed at other rooms here and much more Comfortable. Bathroom was tight squeeze too

For the price it was good, near the beach and an easy access. My only complaint are the beds. They are clean but the mattress is just as hard as a rock.

The room was spacious, the beds comfy, and the area was very clean. The location to the beach is great and is walking distance to the Pier and all the shops in downtown Old Orchard Beach. I would stay again.

On The Beach was a great motel. JJ checked us in early and couldn’t have been any nicer! The room was immaculate and the bed was so comfortable l slept longer than usual. It is a short walk to the center of town filled with restaurants, bars, and attractions. The best part was we were on the beach which makes it so convenient. I would definitely return.

It’s a great affordable place to stay on the beach. It’s very family friendly. Parking is easy and the beach is just steps away. Lots of great dining options and local attractions. It was a really fun time!

Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and we left there feeling like family. Nicest and cleanest hotel rooms on the beach!

A very nice spot, and it was "on the beach". We could walk from our cabin to the beach in about 30 seconds. Staff was friendly and our room was clean, and nice. Will probably stay again next year

We had a wonderful stay at « On the Beach » we visited OOB in the past but definitely found in this Motel a perfect institution that will become our destination when visiting OOB. The location is perfect, not too far from the pier and all the activities but still pretty quiet, steps from the beach, the facility is spotless and the staff is very friendly. All the amenities are there; the heated pool, the hose and shower to remove any sand, comfortable beds even a BBQ for when you don’t feel like eating out. Will definitely recommend and return to this perfect location!

Excellent location with walkway to the beach, short distance to pier and other activities (3-4 min walk). Room was clean, and staff were friendly! This is our second year going to On the Beach and will be there next year!

Super cute and clean. The property had been updated and the owner did a great job. Work station in front of the window with an ocean view would be great for those who work away from home. Bed super comfortable and separated from main living space, like a mini suite. Owner super friendly.

We had a wonderful time at this location and will definitely be back. Our room was fantastic - very clean and updated. "On the Beach" literally means on the beach which was exactly what we were looking for. Our son also loved the heated pool! It was a very family friendly choice and we couldn't have been any happier! The walk into town for restaurants/The Pier/rides was quick and easy which was super helpful with a little one. If you're looking for a quiet couples get away, this probably isn't the best choice for you in the summer due to all the families/kiddos and the noise level. We loved the family vibe and all the kids so it was perfect for us! The beach itself was beautiful - soft sand, virtually no rocks or shells, nice waves but not too rough and just steps from the room to the beach!

It was a convenient location. front desk was great! Clean, respectful, quiet, friendly. Overall, great atmosphere! Would highly recommend!

Very clean and updated

It was very clean and the room was cute. Close enough to walk to downton but just far enough to enjoy quiet.

I loved that we were right on the beach and I had asked if we could have a room facing the ocean and they did give us one. The room was clean. There were only two chairs and one desk chair so I do think that at least a love seat would have been nice. The bathroom was tiny but we managed fine. A second shelf to put stuff on would have been good. Three women in one bathroom with only one shelf was not enough for all our stuff! The beds were comfortable. The heated pool was also great. One day the waves at the beach were just too big so having the pool was perfect.
