Strategic location to Zaandam train station, F&B, supermarket & shopping. only 2 stations away from Amsterdam Centraal. No frills/room service/daily cleaning. Privacy is reserved. Basic amenities are provided. Only light sound could be heard from door slamming.

Another great stay at easyHotel Zaandam. Location so a few blocks from the train station with quick service to Amsterdam and also Schipol Airport. Albert Hein directly across from hotel for groceries and snacks.
Staff is very accommodating and I received free early check-in again (thank you Yannick).
Rooms a a little tight and not much room for luggage storage. Fine for solo traveler, but couple will face challenges get into suitcases.
Water pressure was a little low in this room but plenty of hot water. WiFi worked fine with decent speed.
Only issure (every time I stay there) is the limited options for hanging up clothes (no wall hooks) and no hand towel at the bathroom sink.
Would recommend if you are traveling light and want to avoid the crowds in Amsterdam. Very nice central square with lots of food and drink choices.

Awesome hotel, very clean and helpful staff. Only downfall is the fact that there isn't much to eat around past 8pm and everything becomes a ghost town. Perfect for families with children.

Loved how cute the area was! It was right by a train station so you could train right in to the central in 15 minutes and could use your eurail pass to ride from free. Super clean and modern inside. Would definitely stay again!

The staff were knowledgeable and friendly and any questions they were quick to answer. however the room itself was dirty and we had a gel like liquid on the bed frame which was sticky and glitter all over which I found unhygienic.

Love the room and the views from the window. Room was fairly clean, however there was some mold growing in the shower and in order to use a hair dryer, you had to go downstairs and borrow one from the reception desk with a 2 hour limit.
Overall, it was a really nice hotel, centrally located and fairly quiet

Lovely for the price. It is a 15 minute train from Amsterdam but we didn't mind as when we holiday we are out all day long so it suited our needs.

Repeat stay at EasyHotel Zaandam. Location is great with 3 block walk from station and crovery (Albert Heijn) across the street or across from the station. Other shopping across the street and the Dam is on a 4 minute walk, with plenty of restaurants and bars.
Hotel rooms are clean, water is hot with good pressure and bed is comfortable. What the room lacks is storage space for luggage and wall hooks for clothing. Even a carry-on bag is a tough fit in a standard room. Rooms are on floors 9,10,11 but elevators are quick. Check-in and check-out are easy and fast.
Will stay here again.

Easyhotel Zaandam is exactly what it says it is: a budget hotel that only features the basics but you also don't pay for anything you don't need. The room is just a bed, bathroom, mirror, a chair and very minimal horizontal space to sort things (i.e. no desk). Bed was comfy, linens and room overall were very clean, walls are paper thin, however, so you WILL hear your neighbors, what they're saying, what they watch on T.V. and their salacious night time activities. Not that big of an issue for a single adult or couples but not recommended for families. Overall good for what you pay, and barely more expensive than a hostel in and around Amsterdam, so a good value.

For a basic hotel it was clean and in good condition. It would have been nice to have an option to pay extra to have coffee or tea in our room for the mornings I understand this was provided for at reception but having to get up get dressed just to go to reception to get a coffee was an inconvenience.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s very basic but the bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed. The rooms aren’t cleaned unless you request and pay €20 a day which is something I’ve never experienced from a hotel before, especially when paying €100+ a night. The room wasn’t the most clean and the bathroom had a really bad smell at first (it went after a few showers). Overall I’d recommend this hotel if you’re really on a budget and want somewhere cheap near Amsterdam to stay. Staff at reception are readily available, super friendly and very helpful!

Room is a little small but OK for a single. Quiet room with decent view. Great location a few blocks from Zaandam Station so easy access to AMS and Schipol.
Reception was OK but not overly friendly. Fantastic that they allowed me to check-in at 0800 with no charge.
Room was clean and comfortable. Would stay here again with no second thoughts. Great price for the stay.

The hotel was clean and in the evening when i arrived i had a very nice and helpful receptionist.
Unfortunately no kettle in the room .
The bed was comfortable but the room was far to hot and no instructions in the room how to turn that down.
Also no instructions for the WIFI.
In the morning the receptionist was grumpy and totally uninterested in me checking out.

This place has no facilities - not even glasses to drink water. When requested - only paper cups were provided and that too rationed !
Getting an extra pillow was an adventure !
This is located on 3 floors of a regular condo building and it seems treats the customers like they are tenants from the building.

Highly recommended. Front desk 24 hours with cordial and friendly attention. Excellent room, good cleaning, quiet, excellent views, 1 minute walking to the Zaadam station where you can take train that in 15 minutes leaves it in the center of the city of Amsterdam. Surrounded by stores and excellent restaurants.

Definitely a no frills hotel, but location is great and the staff were friendly and helpful. A few minutes walk to Zaandam station, clean room, comfy bed, good shower. Basic needs, looks just like the photos. If you need a hair-dryer or iron just ask the front desk. Coffee machine in reception, but you have to pay (1.50Euro). However you are so close to the Zaandam high street, everything you need is there. Was a good budget hotel for my visit to Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

Only criticism I have is there wasn’t any tea or coffee facilities in the room but overall it was a lovely room a view second to none of zanndam and really easy access. Love the proximity to the station and how easy check in was. Very satisfying stay. Clean and comfortable bed

This hotel was in the perfect location for my trip to Amsterdam. Just one train stop from the bus station and two stops from central station in Amsterdam and two stops from the windmills! I loved the area, full of shops, restaurants, and things to do. It was very pretty and I enjoyed exploring the area. My room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff at the desk were very friendly and helpful. I look forward to visiting again and staying there!
