It’s was good. Though we had our own bathroom. It is communal.

Never had such a bad smell in any hotel room. When we checked in no staff member was available. On the next morning we complained and the staff tried its best - when the window was opened it was a bit better. At the evening again there was the weird smell and even on request at the front desk there was nothing they could do but giving us a febreeze spray. After the stay we at least requested a refund which was denied. Very bad overall experience! Not worth the money!

We found out that the room which we booked did not have an en-suite, and we were required to travel to the bottom floor, through the common area, to use a communal shower. This was not clear from the advertising, and we felt that it should have been made clearer. When we explained that we thought we had booked a room with an en-suite, the staff were defensive and showed little compassion after a long day of travel. The cost of upgrading to a room with an en-suite was almost the same cost as the room we had booked, which was not cheap to begin with. The carpet smelled of feet also. Otherwise the room was satisfactory and conveniently located close to the main train station and a short tram/bus ride from thw peace memorial park.

The site does not make it clear that there are NO IN ROOM BATHROOMS. There is a communal sink and toilet. There is a shower on the 1st floor. No business calling themselves a spa. Otherwise nice and clean with a kind staff

Sumiya was lovely. The staff were wonderful and very helpful, the rooms were clean, tidy, and nice to stay in.

Very nice hotel, great staff and good location near Hiroshima Station. It was very quiet and clean. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great location and was even better service

Nice hotel. Close to trsin station, with friendly staff. We upgraded to a room with ensuite for a reasonabke fee.

Not the best place. Shared bathroom. Not. Try friendly staff. Wouldn’t stay there again nor would recommend it.

Hotel staff very friendly and location is good as close to jR station and walk into the city. Room a bit small for three of us as we stayed three nights and had large luggage but for a shorter stay then would of been sufficient. We had a room with own bathroom which also small but for the price of the room I think it is good value. We would stay again due to price, location and service.

It was really nice, the location is very near to Hiroshima Station. Just 5 minutes walk from south exit.

Located only minutes walk from the main station everything is nearby. All the main attractions are walkable from here and even quicker by tram or bus. My room was warm, cozy and clean. The WiFi is strong and reliable. Had a very pleasant few days here.

Close to train station! Small hotel but clean and spotless. Reception was not there but reachable by (their) phone anytime, which we were happy with. There was hot and cold drinking water and microwave too in the lounge which was a bonus. Will stay again.

We had a pleasant stay. Short walking distance from the JR Hiroshima station. The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious. The bathrooms are on the ground floor which may be annoying for some but we did t have any issues with it.

Reasonable price, very clean hotel, helpful staff. Will stay again.
