Resort was undergoing what seems like major construction and there was a massive barge with employees working all day. We had not been informed at all otherwise we would not have booked. The beach is beautiful but the lodges area could be improved. Not enough chairs at the beach and that was very disappointing considering the price we paid. Food was good but pricey.

Beautiful location and wonderful food, incredibly friendly people with amazing service. Highly recommend this resort and the area, especially for snorkeling and scuba diving. There are TONS of places to do both around there. There is some minor construction going on right now at the beach during low tides, but it didn't impact us that much...definitely one of our favorite places in the Yasawas Islands.

The beaches are stunning the staff is friendly . All was great .

Expedia did not give us the accurate amount owed to the resort for the meal plan. Expedia said approximately $50/day. It was $90/day. With 4 people for days that's a huge difference

Snorkeling was fantastic and the staff takes you in like you are part of their family

Beautiful beach and great snorkeling condition, fun activities

Beautiful island and very nice food, but the way the rude an arrogant manager / receptionist spoke to me is not acceptable. During the departure song for all guests before the departure, I was pulled aside like some third-grade person and basically yelled at for something that ended up being his mistake. No apology was given, he did not even pretend to care. Absolutely disguising behavior. Don't forget that there are many resorts in the Yasawas, I would recommend reviewing your behaviour towards paying guests.

We loved everything about the property and the staff. We were treated like gold. Comfortable and clean. Everything we needed and the views were spectacular. Food was very good. We are Vegan and Chef Michael worked with us and we were very happy with the food.

I loved the local people, the beaches, the community of people from all parts of the world , the food and service. I loved the laid back feeling of the resort. No pressure for anything. Just a great big “Bula” from everyone. Not as FANCY”. as some, but that’s what I liked about it. Setting was very natural. Hikes were beautiful. Turquoise water and white sandy beaches are another highlight. And reasonably priced. 3 meals included.

We really enjoyed Blue Lagoon — the biggest problem was a cyclone that kept us out of the water for a few days!

We have stayed here twice now, and thoroughly loved both stays. The snorkeling reef just off the beach is amazing, and is a rarity being so accessible by anyone in the family. Even those who are new to snorkeling will see things that will amaze them. The food is outstanding and they even cater to children with picky food tastes. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing time at Blue Lagoon Beach Resort. The facilities, rooms, food and people are wonderful. If you need to get away from it all, this is your place. My husband and I did not want to leave! I highly recommend taking the Village trip and experience Fiji in a way that will leave you wanting more. Bula and Vinaka!

First I would say the staff are very friendly and so helpful. They went out of their way to track down a bag that I forgot on the plane. The food was always impressive and you were never hungry. My only constructive feedback would for the dive shop to have slightly better communication. We signed up for something and they cancelled when we arrived. It would have appreciated them letting us know in advance. The diving there was great and the dive masters Andy and Fraser were always awesome and very professional.

Good in general but I thing surprised us was the compulsory meal plan fee of FJ$118 per adult & $98 for child makes US$163/ or C$222 per night, we paid C$1,100 only for food in 5 days which was never mentioned in Expedia website when we booked this hotel. I would suggest Expedia to specify it so people has their own choice to choose this hotel or not, or this cost should be added into the hotel free specifies 3 meals included!

Had an amazing honeymoon stay at BLBR due to the friendly staff especially Mike, Atu, and Luke who went out of their way to make us feel at home. Also, I successfully obtained my PADI Open Water Dive Certification with the help of their awesome dive shop team especially Joe and Navi. The dive sites were incredible and my wife loved the Beachfront Villa we stayed in and the daily and nightly activities. The wifi was spotty at the resort however this was just a minor issue. Another highlight was the food as each day we enjoyed delicious meals which exceeded our expectations. We'll never forget our stay at Blue Lagoon Beach Resort as it was the perfect start to our honeymoon.

Good vegetarian options. The resort was nice and relaxing for a solo traveller without being too quiet.

Nice hotel at the beach, friendly and helpful staff, only few sunchairs available for guests not staying in a villa, no shade at the beach after noon, beach almost gone when tide is high, excellent food, amenities clean and working well, dorm has air conditioning

My husband and I stayed at Blue lagoon as a last minute change to our itinerary since we had heard great things from people and read some good reviews. Since it was a last minute decision, we were only able to book a lodge with a shared bathroom, which wouldn’t have been our first choice, but since we paid $175 CAD per night, ($188 AUS), we figured it couldn’t be bad. Unfortunately, for the money we paid, it was not worth the change to our itenerary.
The room essentially had a bed and that’s it. There was no air conditioning, even though the dorm rooms apparently had a/c. The shared bathroom was shared with the other lodge rooms and the dorms. It was dirty and full of bugs which is not what we expected after paying $175 per night. We had just come from Mantaray Island resort where our accommodations were completley different after statying in a Reef Bure. In addition, the staff at Manta Ray Island were more welcoming and friendly and seemed to appreciate your visit much more than the staff at Blue Lagoon.
The beach, facility and food were great however the accommodations tainited our experience. We unfortunately would not stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Lagoon! We never stayed at a resort before and this was an incredible experience. The location, of course, was phenomenal because of the beautiful white sand beaches and the wonderful coral reefs. The service was outstanding and the staff were incredibly friendly and responsive. My only complaint revolved around our dietary restrictions. It took about a day and a half for staff to understand our needs but they were extremely attentive after that.

Staff and food were highlights of our stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable, although I didn’t realize the lodges (vs villas) did not have a private bathroom. Bathrooms are communal and shared. Beach was stunning as were the hills you can hike just behind the property with views of the whole island. Some activities are included in the “resort fee” (snorkels to use on reef right off the shore, kayaks, morning yoga) while others are for an adtl fee (snorkel excursion, diving, standup paddle). Plenty enough to do for a few days hanging out at the stunning beach. we had the most fantastic time and really didn’t want to leave after 3 nights. Heads up this is one of the further away stops on the ferry from Nadi (4.5 he’s by boat), which only added to the blissful feeling of really getting away from it all for us.

I was very hesitant about staying in a dorm room. But it was impeccably clean, as were the bathrooms. Food was outstanding — surprisingly of gourmet quality dinners. First-class operation.

This is the first hotel we have stayed at in the yasawa's normally we stay in the Mamanuca group of islands, we were pleasantly surprised. we stayed in a lodge room as opposed to a bure as we have found from our trips in the past to Fiji we only end up using the room for sleeping and storing our bags. The room was clean and had a comfortable bed with working air con and fan. The manager Matt does a very good job in getting around everybody to see there stay is pleasant ( his PR skills we shown to be better than other 4 /5 star resorts we have stayed at).
It does take a long time to get there by boat and I would recommend going by sea plane if it isn't your first trip to Fiji.
This is a very quiet hotel at night, the boys doing the night games/ entertainment do a great job with how little area they have to work with.
There seemed to be plenty of things to do during the day if you wanted to be active. The only real negative I found was being charged $18 fj for a pack of 10 cigarette's when it's $7 fj on the main land ( a bit steep although I should probably give up) . We would recommend this hotel/ resort to stay at, and we will probably return for another holiday. Vinaka

The resort is situated at the Yasawa Islands. All these islands are beautiful.
The pool is fantastic and the food is great. Correct staff at the dive shop. However the bungalows are absolutely overpriced compared with other resorts in the Yasawas.
Manager is rude, thinks he is the king and does not listen to his clients. We experienced this ourselves and observed this around us.
The missed the warm pure Fijian hospitality that we found in the other resort at the Yasawas. 2 days blue lagoon was ok, but we were happy we didn’t book longer.
2.5
My one regret about choosing Blue Lagoon as a holiday destination is that I didn’t stay for longer. This resort blends relaxed island living and traditional activities with the creature comforts of home. It attracts a mix of travellers- families, couples, and backpackers- because there’s something for everyone.

All the hotels on the Yasawas are almost exactly the same. They offer the same food, activities, kava, perfomance, but they vary widely in quality. Some are better, some are worse. This was the nicest one we found. Though we found it rather boring, it is undeniablyreally nice. Food is very good. Staff is great.
