From the moment we walked into the Hotel, the staff were kind and courteous. We had shipped our luggage from Tokyo and it was in our room waiting when we checked in. We also stored bags with the hotel staff on check out which was a great help until our Shinkansen left. The hotel is very centrally located and everything you need is in walking distance as well as having a Metro station right out front of the hotel.

Right next to a metro station and very many dining options in the area. Spacious rooms that also provided pajamas and slippers. Very clean and spacious. Friendly and helpful staff !

Nice hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with decent room size after staying in other Japanese hotels. Bakery on the first floor of hotel has delicious breakfast and lunch options.

The rooms are tiny for 1 person let alone for 3 people as was advertised.
There is barely any place to put 1 small suitcase and the furniture arrangement in the room was pathetic.

Wonderful weather during the cherry blossom season, which made the visit to the city magnificent. Very spacious and comfortable room. Excellent location and easy access by public transportation.
We used the baggage receiving and storage service, which worked wonderfully.

Loved this hotel. Awesome location, quiet but just mins from shopping and restaurants. Train station right outside the hotel and 2 stops from Kyoto station. 3 combinis, coffee shops mins away. Walk to Nishiki and Gion. Hotel was impeccably clean and good sized by Japan standards.

Amazing hotel, staff, and location! Similar to other Royal Park Hotels, everyone was helpful and kind. The location was in the center of kyoto and very close to the subway station. Lots of places to visit, eat, and shop were nearby and easy walking

Clean, well-located hotel within 50 feet of the subway station and 1 block from the main shopping street. Rooms are small, but that is normal in Japan. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it.

Friendly staff, nice rooms. Laundry on site is convenient. We loved the breakfast, especially the croissant. Initially we thought the French restaurant on the first floor was a bummer (we didn't go to Kyoto to eat French) but it turned out to be a blessing when we couldn't find a table at any restaurant around on a busy Saturday night. The food was absolutely fantastic, a meal worth $100 or more in the US for less than 30 bucks. Try the alcohol-free cocktails, they are delicious!

We had a great stay! The hotel is conveniently located near the bus and train stations and walkable to many sights and fun places to eat and shop! The rooms and bathrooms were sparkling clear and updated/modern. Breakfast got a bit repetitive since we stayed for 4 mornings and its a limited menu cafe but the quality and food was great! Overall highly recommend.

Such a great hotel! So close to everything! Subway entrance not even 200m away which is so convenient. Perfect location and amazing room, really clean and spacious. service by the staff was awesome as well. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
