Hotel is almost perfect. But outdoor swimming pool. Too many people. So i cannot ise sunbed and swimming pool allday.
That is only one of weak point

The staff and service is excellent, the views of the ocean beautiful, the pool is nice. the rooms are mediocre and the area around the hotel is a long way from anything, except the ocean.

The hotel is very nice and I loved the decoration, however the customer service is not at the level of a 4 stars hotel and especially of a Marriot hotel.
I purchased 2 bedrooms of 3 people each, when we arrived at the check in counter the gentleman kept on insisting we had 3 bedrooms, I showed him the voucher which specified 2 bedrooms. He kept on insisting and told me that the rooms were already paid for so why not to use it. I said ok and I split my family in 2 people for each room.
After 30 minutes we were in the room, the reception called me to tell me that I had to pay for the 3rd room. I argued with the guy that he did confirm the 3 rooms were paid for, he admitted his mistake and he said he would have loose money from his salary if I stayed in the room and not pay for it.
We had the option to leave 1 room and put an extra bed in each room. As the kids had already use the beds I accepted to stay in the third room as I felt bad for the guy and I paid the extra 80 Usd (the room with hotels.com cost me Usd 55 so much less that what they were charging me!!!).
I told the guy that I was keeping and paying for the 3rd bedroom which he confirmed it was already paid and that in exchange he could offer a drink to compensate the mistake they did.
I went downstairs to pay for the room and have a drink.
The following morning at check out I was asked to pay for the drink!!!
I had to explain the entire story to 3 different people (also the manager) and still I had to pay for it.

The reception is probably the most important part of a hotel experience. If you have a poor experience there it determines whether you will return to the hotel in the future. Let's just say the check in process was extremely unprofessional and off-putting. I felt like I was checking into the El Mouradi. Horrible and disrespectful staff.

Well located hotel, welcoming and kind staff especially at the restaurant and at the reception, tasty food, unfortunately no Air-conditioning as per their policy it Shouldn’t be working between October and May, which doesn't make sense as in March the weather in Tunisia could be warm,

Amazing Stay, Thank you Bessma for allowing us this fabulous and extremely relaxing stay, being as hospitable and professional as a Front Desk Manager is at the Marriott International Brand; Check in (Adel) and Check out (Karim) as smooth as a Bonvoy member should Expect. F& B with the Kindness of Executive Chef Karim, the very Yummy and flavor oriented OPUS restaurant is a must visit while you are around. We also liked The Buffet Breakfast , thank you

The property is gorgeous, the staff is exceptional, I wish I could take them all home with me. The breakfast is the largest I’ve ever witnessed at a hotel, with so many options to choose from. They spare nothing to service you. The pool is beautiful, spa services were delightful as well. Also the spa space is beautiful. The beach had security so I could leave my bag while I swam with no worries at all. I was sad I had to leave

Check in was terrible I wait in line for one hour and a half.
Internet conexión very bad. Room not too clean, No towels, no hair dryer. TV was not working. I called for towels for 4 times did not bring any until midnight. Broken chair in a room. Room facing a busy street very noisy. This was a terrible experience I will not to recommend anybody.
I spoke with the manager, she did not do anything for me. I paid a very expensive rate for a bad experience. I thinks Hotels.com should do something to compensate this terrible experience. Thanks.

Beautiful seaview with balcony, the hotel is clean and the location is good. It's easy to get a taxi (costs less than TND3 to get to the shared taxi station for day trips to other cities). We stayed here for four nights. The only drawbacks of this hotel are the lack of meat in the buffet breakfast and no dryer in the room.

The hotel has one main problem. AC was not working, I asked for maintenance but the couldn’t do anything! I couldn’t sleep during that night then I had to open the balcony sliding door!

It was an excellent stay, the hotel staff at the reception were one of a kind very helpful gentle and ready to assist and help. The hotel is very clean. The only disadvantage is there is only one restaurant so you have only one menu to choose from everyday. It would have been useful to have at least another restaurant at the hotel (besides the bar restaurant and the buffet) especially if you reserve with bed and breakfast.

Really disappointed with the Pearl Resort. We booked our trip well before the COVID-19 pandemic and we books non-refundable rooms, as we usually do. (If we have never been unable to travel as planned.) After March 15th, the world shutdown and Tunisia was closed to all non-Tunisians. We waited and hoped. As our vacation plans began to really crumble, we tried contacting the Pearl Resort in June. They were closed. They did not open until July 1st yet US citizens still could not travel. Bottom line: they refused to provide any consideration for our stay. No refund (not expected) but also no consideration for a future stay. We'll still visit Tunisia when we can but the Pearl Resort will NOT get any more of our money.

It was the worst visit ever! The staff was rude and harassed us because we exchanged money upon arrival and the next day the staff claimed they gave too much in dinar back to you. Also, I paid for express dry cleaning and did not get back in and had to wait and they would not give us the difference for express service. We ended up switching hotels even though we were paid up and they wouldn’t refund the difference. We sat down with management and told him everything we experienced and did not receive an apology of any sort. The staff does not speak good English so be aware of you plan to say

Asi mentioned previously, Chinaz at the reception, Fouize (porter) and staff in canteen like Garbi and the sister who makes the Hamelot, make this hotel the place it is. Just nice genuine people who treat you so well. I hope i also showed respect and appreciation back!

Worst hotel ever! May appear to be a luxury hotel but we were robbed and the management did nothing. Too many numerous issues to list and yes we complained only to get a sorry! Not good enough when $10,000 US dollars were spent here!!!! We switched hotels and it was like a breath of fresh air and cost less with alll inclusive amenities. The Pearl Resort and Spa only cared about money, money and more money. Save yourself!!!

Please be AWARE the staff overall from the front desk to housekeeping to laundry and especially the bar and food does SPEAK or understand English well at all.
