We had an excellent stay at this property. Our room was ready upon arrival. The front desk staff was so kind & beyond helpful the entire length of the stay. We traveled with our Yorkie and three kids - the hotel was great for our needs. They give you a pet door hanger so you don't have to worry about room service trying to answer. The $150 pet fee seems a bit steep but overall I would stay here again for sure. Our room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast had a ton of options however none of them were very yummy. We only ate it one morning. I do wish they had a hot tub or more indoor pool options so there would be more to do in the winter months. Beach access was super easy. My biggest complaint would be the parking - the garage is very tight & difficult to navigate in a larger truck, but we did make it work. Overall a great stay & would stay again!

Great three night stay with great view of ocean, easy access to beach and parking. Hotel services were spot on and very welcoming for our pet dog who was making her first trip to beach. We highly recommend it and we will be back for another stay soon.

Hotels itself is very nice, and rooms are great and clean. Bed very comfy, bathroom spacious and clean and same the kitchen. But there was few thing not that great : we have been there a week -every day was the same breakfast, breakfast eating area is very nice with many different options to sit, but since hotel is pet friendly - dogs were just doing their business just in front of the window -not the greatest view.
Hotel has nice pools (just the water was too cold to get in ) and a splash zone -that was my fave part. Parking was very convenient too. Hotel can do a complimentary grocery shopping - that was a great option too, and sometimes they have free tickets for shows in area. And it’s little too far from downtown . Overall it’s a great place to stay.

The staff is friendly, premises clean, nice amenities. Cannot beat the room, view, and rate we got. The breakfast was nice and people were friendly. Very happy with our stay at the Residence Inn Myrtle Beach, SC.

Birthday trip and to visit family. Great hotel, Friendly staff. Breakfast was pretty tasty too! Everything was clean and looked brand new. Only thing I would change is to have wider turning in the parking deck or change entrance/exit to different parts of the deck. Parking for full size pickup trucks is challenging.

Excellent stay!!! The beach was beautiful, the room was great, we had the king balcony with kitchen, had everything we needed.
Keep in mind this is not a full service hotel so you will choose between no service and service every other day which is a light room refresh (no linen changes, however you can request fresh linens and change your bedding as you chose), you can also request fresh towels as needed.
Breakfast was good as well as convenient.
Location was perfect, close to everything, shopping, grocery stores, boardwalk, cute downtown district.
Will definitely be returning!!

Overall it was a wonderful experience. There was a few things that could be done to improve. The area rug had a mild smell of dogs. I know its a pet friendly hotel but deep shampooing should be done after every visit. The room was beautiful and very spacious and we loved that. But can’t give an excellent score due to the dog smell in the area carpet I also loved the comfort of the bed and the beach being in walking distance although it was not the best weather to enjoy it. We were able to sat on the balcony during the night and listen to the ocean. That’s a plus.

I have been staying at this hotel every year now for 4 years.. The room for my September 2024 vacation was a little different than my past rooms. I always get an oceanfront king suite but this room is smaller plus it smelled like wet dog. I do love dogs and I know this is a very dog friendly hotel, this room was not as clean and the toilet had issues but I lived with it. Housekeeping came once. Not acceptable but I will be back, it's the only hotel I stay at when visiting.

This time the stay was terrible and it started as soon as I went to check in. I would not recommend at all. Only good thing was the ladies that worked during the weekday at the front desk and the cleaner did an excellent job cleaning the room.

The hotel is at the premium location and is pet-friendly which is a big plus to us. However, having stayed Residence Inn at different locations (consider we are loyal Residence Inn customer), this one could have been more cleaner throughout the entire facility and room. With $150 extra charge on bring in a pet with us, the room should have been cleaned more thoroughly. The breakfast is adequate but at times some food items took some time until they can be refilled, an indication of the staff did not pay attention to the consumption of each item and when to refill. We loved the convenience of just walking to the beach whenever we want, and the hotel’s beach towel supply.

It’s beautiful place the only 1 issue I have had here I stayed there 4 nights and the reception told me they do cleaning every other day. But no one came to clean the room when I requested to clean it another reception person told me they only clean after 7 days. Which was kind of unhygienic. She said only thing they do take the trash from your room every after other day which I have requested them to at least do that. But again no one showed up to do it either. I am kind of upset even after requesting they didn’t care.

Poor service in every department, Im a Marriott employee and I expected much better. I stayed at the property 2 years ago and did enjoy it then, that’s why I decided to come back knowing what the brand standards are, but my experience this time was poor.

Staff not so friendly manager on duty was rude.. if you want to get treated right for the money you spend go to the Northside of Myrtle Beach.. Not your average Marriott

The bedsheets were dirty. There was pop corn, sand, and hair in the bed and shower. The room was obviously not cleaned. The hotel is an extended stay hotel which means they don’t change the sheets when they do a room refresh. But apparently they don’t even change the sheets between people??!! Their gluten free option was a blueberry muffin and that’s it. Will never stay here again

My daughter, granddog, and myself decided to take a mini mid week summer vacation to Myrtle Beach and we had the BEST TIME EVER. The hotel was beautiful, the staff were kind and thoughtful, and the accommodations were perfect! We enjoyed meeting Ray. He was super kind, funny, and a hard worker. We also enjoyed meeting Charles. He was a GREAT bartender and very friendly. We will definitely stay here again!
