Incredible place, clean and beautiful rooms. Walking distance from everything we wanted to see. Alberto the manager is an incredible and welcoming host. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

An exquisite quiet place close to main square and safe. If you fancy something cozy and homely then this is the place to go. I loved the high ceilings and the breakfast was good. The staff are very friendly and warm.

Quiet place, spacious and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast and attention from the kitchen staff. Negative: The water did not drain properly in the bathtub in our room and the floors in the bathroom could have been better cleaned during our stay, other than that a nice little hotel to stay.

Beatiful property, big clean rooms, friendly staff. Very easy to walk to both the Catedral, and the Paseo.

The rooms are beautifully appointed in decor and the linens are fantastic. Modern bathroom and very clean. The pool area is very well done and having a fridge at the disposal of guests is a thoughtful touch. I will definitely return.

amazing 5 star stay here! slightly above average pricing for stays in merida but we felt it was worth it. the property is exactly like the photos, beautiful and serene with lots of plants. the staff is as very welcoming and kind, and the included hot breakfast with fruit, coffee, juice served every morning 8:30-10:30am was the highlight of our stay. rooms are spacious and clean with many amenities provided. location was great as well, very walkable to everything in merida centro. parking is free on streets.

The room was beautiful, the shower was the best I've ever used, and the air conditioning is very effective. The full, hot breakfasts were excellent. There is always a staff member available, and they are very helpful. I recommend this hotel without any hesitation.

Enjoyed our stay. Beds comfortable. Was very nice to take a dip in the pool. And my husbands favorite.. the breakfast. Everything was wonderful. We’ll be back.

Tranquil oasis close to centro Mérida. It was lovely to come back to in the hot afternoons. Small but refreshing pool. Friendly staff. Breakfasts were not incredible but tasty, especially freshly squeezed mango juice.

I was here just this last weekend, Miss Lorena and all her staff have welcomed us like no one as never done before, I felt like at home every minute I spend there! The room, the pool, the breakfast....everything was perfect! My room was awesome at the 1st floor, the nr 5 with an incredibly large bathroom, the breakfast was simply amazing, with a lot of fresh fruits and a great variety of choice, everything organic, and biologic...unfortunately I have been only for 2 nights, I wish I could spend a week there! I recommend it for who wanna spend some days to refresh his soul and body... Thank you again Villa Orquidea!

Great location being circa 10 mins walk from the town squares. The room was large with a big bed, fluffy towels and a walk-in shower. Good quality hairdryer and bathroom products. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Courtyard pool was nice for a dip after a day out and gets sun during the day. Free parking outside hotel on the (one way) street. Would recommend Oliva Enoteca and Chooj Galeria to eat in. Symphony orchestra was ridiculously good value and something different.

This boutique hotel was truly a pleasant surprise. The building is beautifully renovated. The pool and garden area are very peaceful yet this hotel is very well positioned to discover the city centre and only a 5-10 minute walk to some excellent restaurants! Our room was spacious, clean. Huge bed, nice air-conditioning and lovely spacious shower and bathroom with a choice of good quality toiletries. Very good home-made breakfast and the owners were very welcoming and hospitable. Could not recommend this hotel enough! If we ever return to Merida we will be sure to stay again!

We had to come to Mérida to take care of some business so it was a short trip. The hotel is amazing with great architectural elements and lovely decor. The pool was a great way to cool down during the day. The location is excellent with an easy walk to Paseo Montejo, Zocalo and restaurants nearby at Parque Santa Lucia. The room is spacious, clean and the air conditioning is very effective.

We loved this place! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with super chilly A/C. The hotel is so charming and it felt more like a traditional bed and breakfast. Our host, Alberto, was very helpful with recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was yummy and the cook was accommodating with food preferences. We will definitely return in the future.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this boutique hotel. The check-in was very simple, and the location was perfect near Centro and the airport. The culture, cuisine, and people of Merida are the best. We will be back again!

Online - when I saw so many "10" reviews - I thought they must be questionable. I have been disappointed in the past. I have been over 1000 nights in hotels and service apartments etc. the past 10 years. This place is exceptional. The keys of: Ice cold AC that can cope with the high ceilings - and clean, new foam mattresses so good I did not bother to add the Tempur-Pedic topper I travel with. Totally clean, mildew free, fresh smell through out the property. No mini-fridge in the room - but no need - you have 24 hour access to the big colonial home's state of the art kitchen - 24 hour access to the dining room with snacks, nespresso, twinings teas etc... Its like you are a very welcome and trusted guest staying in a millionaire's home. Wifi was outstanding as well. My first 10 review I think. The key is 2 fold: The Mexico City owners who created it from a factory invested in quality all the way - rare in the hospitality industry these days. And Lorena Carrillo - the GM who is there often - is a highly intelligent young business executive who is obsessive about the cleanliness and quality of the property and guest experience - yet has this relaxed, charming and cheerful personality that defines the property and gives you as much 5 star service you desire with space and privacy. The housekeeping by Oralia is exceptional as well. They even have a quality massage table on site to make housecall massages easy. And a pond with the little fish that clean your feet! Wow.
