We paid for a single king and were given a double full for a romantic night without the kids. When we told the front desk about the mixup, they told us because we went through a third party, too bad (basically). Thankfully they spoke to my husband about this and not me.
The desk staff were dismissive and not very personable… seemed as if we were bothering them when asking if we could go outside on the patio after dark.
Overall, I MIGHT stay here again, but I highly doubt it. Thankfully for them, they are the closest to the VA Beach Amphitheater. If not, they would never last.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable but the hotel was loud. No insulation maybe because we heard doors shutting and people walking around all night. Then at 630 am the dumpster right outside our window was emptied and the bangs woke us up. The checkin agent was not friendly and seemed annoyed every time we asked a question.

Front desk staff Sharon miller and Jean Mott were amazing. The hotel was clean and in a convenient location. The breakfast bar was nice as well.
My only complaint is with housekeeping. The room next door to mine was being cleaned at 9am, the housekeeper used the safety lock to prevent the door from closing, and kept letting the door slam against the lock each time they went in & out the room to their storage cart. Luckily I was awake already, if I were sleeping in that would have definitely ruined my rest.
They also need to put a trash bag inside the bathroom trash can. Certain things being thrown away may not be suitable for a trash can without a bag.

This is a beautiful and fully equipped hotel! Stayed for one night to attend a concert at the amphitheater. Beautiful and clean rooms; spacious shower, yummy breakfast, and even self serve beer and wine in the lobby at night. The front desk staff couldn't have been nicer. There is a parking garage across from hotel so there is plenty of parking. Close to everything downtown- would definitely stay again!

Staff was amazing from check in too checked out. They offered us cool water upon entrance and made our check in process a breeze. They handed us brochures and popular district areas to choose from while we were in town. Their breakfast has vegetarian options and are efficient in every category.

We did not enjoy getting a room that was not cleaned when we walked into the room. Then they said they would clean room immediately. That did not happen and management provided a different room that was clean already

This seems to be a fairly new hotel, nice room and spacious bathroom. Microwave, frig, coffee maker, in addition to free breakfast and a self-serve bar on site. Minus one star becauthe first room we were given, the door wouldn’t lock. The staff was quick to move us to the room next door, though.
Very convenient to the nearby Livenation concert venue.

Terrific hotel! My son and I went to a concert at the amphitheater and stayed overnight. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and easy to access off of 264.

Great hotel! It was clean, staff was friendly, within walking distance to Town Center which has several restaurants choices and shopping. The mall is across the street from Town Center which was great also. 15 minute drive to the beach. Perfect location. Will definitely book here again!

This was the perfect spot for my short stop on my way to Florida. Easy in and out FREE parking, friendly staff, and very clean and comfortable rooms. Also, Virginia beach was only about a 15 minute drive. I highly recommend Fairfield Inn for the comfortable rooms, great staff, and easy parking. 5 stars for sure.

Cons - The toilet ran nonstop. The soap was out. When I advised the front desk, i was told housekeeping would replace it when they came in but he wrote down my room and out of soap on a piece of paper. When I came back 4 hours later, I was told housekeeping comes every other day and I
could replace it myself.

We were not able to even check in- no rooms available due to the Shamrock Marathons EVEN with a reservation - told us it would be a long wait to possibly get a room, at 6pm when we arrived (check in started at 3pm) said they only had two housekeepers on staff and hopefully more people would check out to possibly get us a room- we booked this room WEEKS in advance for a family event. Truly believe they over sold/committed for the weekend to others that paid more money then the expieda rate- would give this hotel zero stars, and do not book if major event happing in Va beach - they had two moms with kids crying in lobby over this situation and our family drove 3 hours home due to no where to stay- at least thankful to Expedia for helping with the cancellation at no charge - seriously worst hotel experience ever
