Love the stay and hotel was very comfortable with excellent bakery and breakfast. Service was wonderful too.

Amazing place with great location. Rooftop bar had wonderful views and excellent Waygu burgers. Top notch bakery cafe in lobby area. Beds were comfortable and showers state of the art.

Great stay overall. Would spend the extra money though for a room with a view. Gym is small, but gets the job done. Great overall experience

Very clean hotel. Overall a vibe . The restaurant in the hotel is very nice , date night quality. The bakery is a great touch on the location. Unfortunately I didn’t see the bar on the top floor due to rain. Staff are very friendly.

Loved this hotel so much we stayed an extra night. Amazing guest services and the restaurant/bakery were an amazing touch.

Although the hotel is set slightly away from nightlife, it was easy and convenient to get a taxi to everything. The rooftop bar was a great vibe and staff was super helpful. We love the convenience of grabbing a quick morning breakfast and cappuccino, before heading out. I am vegan, and loved that they had so many options for me! Also, one of the best showers ever!!

Lovely hotel within walking distance to bus stops and metro stations. Daily cleaning service and well put together rooms with enough room for 2 large suitcases to be opened.

The hotel was beautiful, well maintained and good location to visit temples and shrines around at walking distance, the location it is not the centre, in a non too busy area but close enough to everything.

It’s one of the best hotels I have stayed in Kyoto. Room size wise, location wise and staff friendliness wise, all are perfect! Highly recommend to Kyoto visitors.

New clean hotel, service good but does not feel genuine. No coffee in room and breakfast good but limited. Area ok but on a very busy overpass.

Wonderful hotel, clean, new. Easy check in, great amenities. Comfortable (not hard) bed.

We arrived on a Friday at 5:30pm to a vibing DJ Good Mellows in the lobby! ❤️ The food here is fab and staff helpful; summoned taxis and recommended great sushi nearby. Notably good water pressure, comfy beds, and (3) coin laundry machines.

Small, clean and basic rooms. Not over the top. Very Ecco focused. One of the best bakeries I’ve been to in the lobby, great roof top. Would stay again

The hotel itself is nice. Although Breakfast ends too early and we missed it. The area is not close to shopping and has limited dining options.

What a great hotel! The various foods at the bakery and restaurant were delicious and sophisticated, catering to more Western sensibilities, but the Japanese touches were still delightful. The staff members throughout the hotel were helpful, informative, and friendly. My family was grateful to the front desk for helping us find some incredible nearby restaurants and making sure our two rooms were close to each other. The rooms were spacious with great ammenities and a wonderful bath/shower combo. It's hard to beat the location, too, with its proximity to Kiyomizu-dera and Gion; it was easy and fun exploring the area by foot. Would definitely stay again!
