Customer service was great. Hotel was a little underwhelming as to what i had seen online. Hallway smelled liked weed every time we left our room. Dresser was warped from water damage maybe. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Emerald. Clean and the beds were very comfortable. Highly recommend staying at the Emerald.

Maybe a little overrated compared to reviews. It's one of those hybrid, labor-saving "hotels" with no real staff on premises and lots of cameras. So it's a little impersonal. Walls seemed flimsy. Nice bathroom, though. Probably better than some options in Beaufort, but not so much personality.

My wife and I stayed here while celebrating our Anniversary. This was a nice property very close to shopping & dining options. It was quiet and in a good area. There was parking onsite. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. My only con with the room was the lack of USB chargers. The idea of no staff in the building was very interesting but it worked out great. They have bottled water for guests in the lobby in a refrigerator and coffee and tea. They also have a “guest closet” that has extra toiletries and other things you might need during your stay such as an ironing board or extra hangers or a first aid kit. This was a nice touch. They also had bicycles for use by guests. I would stay here again.

Prefer more contact although your follow up texts were appreciated. The neighborhood was pleasant but I’d prefer more restaurants close by.
Reviews indicated a bottle of wine in the room but I didn’t see one.

Totally enjoyed the room!! It was easy check in, clean room, amazing shower, easy parking and not far (walking distance) from some great restaurants!! Would totally book this again!!

Liked the room and bathroom even though there was only one small soap bar.Comfortable bed.
Check-in was very frustrating requiring us to call the emergency no. which cost me $15.
Also we weren't able to fathom the TV. Not familiar with Roku and there was no one to ask except other guests who told us they too had frustrations with TV.

My wife an I tend to visit this area at least once a month. Having found this property it is naturally our go to. Will be scheduling another stay this week for the future

I was a little weary of a self check in hotel. But it was a smooth process. The room and hotel were clean and comfortable. They had thought of everything!

I had a king room reserved but email reply for payment was sent to my spam! I missed it and had to reserve on Expedia! On Expedia it’s very difficult to make changes! After several calls/emails I was able to cancel one night. Staff restocked supply closet which was awesome!

Nice room with great shower. Very cool concept, mini hotel with a small lobby and no staff. There are nice extra touches, like a bottle of wine, great coffee in the lobby with real half and half and free water bottles. They also have a guest closet just in case you forgot something. The rooms are stylish and the bed was comfortable.

Emerald is a beautiful place to stay in. The staff’s are amazing. We had one incident of noise but was taken care off immediately. One other thing we request is update the mattress and add darkening curtains to the all windows and doors. Thank you.

Lovely place to stay, super comfy bed and great shower. We stated on first floor and it was a little noisy with sound from the room above and from the lobby entrance which we were next to.

Quick overnight stay to check out Beaufort on our way to Florida. This place was recently renovated and still smells like new. Having nobody on site was interesting but worked out well we didn’t have any issues. Complimentary bottle of wine in the room and free water in the lobby was nice. Free parking in the back and plenty of overflow parking further back. Quick walk down to the water and restaurants. Everything was great would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Emerald Boutique! The bed was very comfortable, room was clean and very nice! We really appreciated the complimentary bottle of wine and also cold bottled water available in the common area! Conveniently located to downtown and waterfront, easily walkable for several dining options! Staff also replied immediately to our request for a late checkout! Highly recommend staying at the Emerald Boutique! Perfect location for our sons Marine Corp graduation!

Not a pretty location, but a good location to get downtown to B St. easily where there are lots of amenities; fairy queen, in terms of the room, and well furnished with lots of free water as well. Would stay there again, without hesitation.

LOVED the concept of no concierge and being self serve. We checked in easily and were unpacking in our room in minutes. Modern decor and personal touches…the beds were unbelievably comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again!

My husband and I needed a night away but didn’t want to drive far. I had no clue Beaufort had this beautiful hidden gem!! The hotel was beautiful, the room was soooo nice!! It was quite and incredibly clean. I was a little worried about there not being a receptionist but I quickly realized I had no reason to worry. Anything we needed was quickly and easily accessible. The email response team was very responsive. The complimentary wine was a nice touch!
We will definitely book with you guys again in the future!

Will stay again. Very clean, quiet and convenient. Did not have a soap dish. Also, wish our room came with a small refrigerator and microwave for an added touch. Otherwise, this was a wonderful stay. The bed slept amazingly! The sheets and pillows were perfect!

Very nice accommodations... Especially like the little touches including robes, wine, etc. The location is perfect or one can walk everywhere around town. Parking is at the doorstep.... Easy access to the building as well as the room. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again

When I made my reservation, I didn’t realize this was a self-service property. I had to reach out to the remote phone number twice, once for a special accommodation and second for my own ignorance. Both times my phone call was answered promptly and Richard was accommodating and gracious. When we arrived we were greeted by the very kind housekeeping staff. Lovely property and a lovely trip. No fuss and no waiting. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in Beaufort at the Emerald Boutique.. Our booked room was on the top floor. During a conversation the housekeeper had with Richard, he learned that I was mobility challenged and immediately offered us a complementary upgrade to a first floor room. The property is really nice and has everything you would need readily available even though there is no personnel on site. We really appreciated the wine and chocolates and I want to personally thank Richard for bring so kind and accommodating. We look forward to our next stay!

This was a great location for my work trip to Penn Center and had dedicated parking so that I could park, walk around town, and work without having to hunt down parking for myself. Comfortable and lovely shower. Would recommend!
