I don't like the toilets not in the the room and the noise was ridiculous there was a tv on all night until 4am it kept everyone awake then the cleaner's vacuum started at 6am it was a nightmare we didn't sleep the whole night my uncle used to be the licensee / manager 20 years ago and it is very well renovated since then and the food is amazing

The meal prices are very reasonable, $21 for Italian sausage, mash & veges! A pint of xpa $9.60, pretty happy with that! I stayed here because it was a $30 taxi to the airport. The room was great, maybe do with a chair to sit on, but no complaints! I'd definitely stay here again!

This property is an old hotel. One floor has been renovated nicely for guest accommodation. Price was good. All hours access. Two high floors to climb by stairs was only drawback

The hotel is primarily a sports bar with rooms above. The bar is permanently noisy during trade hours and that suits the many happy bar patrons. The rooms are two flights of stairs up and so are quiet enough, but there is nowhere quiet to eat one of the good quality meals. The shared bathrooms worked OK because there are several self-contained mini bathrooms together so you're always likely to find a free one and everything works. But, the refresh is starting to look tired and the hot water pressure is feeble. And if the pub is busy, good luck finding a parking space.

Clean room and facilities in a convenient location. A little bit noisy at times, but, it is a hotel on a main road.

Room was clean with modern bathroom. Meals downstairs in the pub were very good.

Conveniently located

Unfortunately this was only place that had available rooms and I know why. There was no window in my room and the smell of paint was almost unbearable in the room I had to have the aircon to circulate some air in the room. You also have to wait for like 2mins for warm water..

Check in was easy and hassle free. Wide range of options for dinner downstairs and an all round good atmosphere.

If you like quaint older style hotels (very elaborate bannisters, old world charm, etc) like I do, this is it. Private bathroom fully renovated. I’ll be back again.

The room was clean and had been beautifully renovated. Although it’s shared bathroom and toilet, they’re clean and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall excellent quality for the price. It’s 15 min drive to Canberra, but if you don’t feel like going out the pub has plenty on with yummy meals. Highly recommend.

At first didn’t quite like the shared bathroom idea. But the bathroom is super clean. Room is clean as well. Nice stay.

Very loud karaoke till midnight then drunk people all over the hotel and street making loud noise till 2am... It's not a hotel to have good rest. It's a hotel to party, get drunk and go up in the bedrooms

Great place for a quick stay, nice room but there’s not a lot of ventilation so maybe not for everyone. Queanbeyan is nice but the streets around the hotel are a bit strange. Felt safe during the day but a bit off in the evening.

Staff where amazing. The cleaners also where amazing, they helped me in tge morning and were very happy to. Great place to stay. And the food omg

Old building, creeky floor, share bathroom light goes out (if you shave then shower), shower water hot then cold then hot and only trickles out. Probably won’t stay in business again here

It’s a pub, what is not to like? Basically, you know you won’t get an ensuite, it’s just like a caravan park but much more comfortable

We've stayed here twice, one night stopovers, no complaints. The renovations of bedrooms & bathrooms is tasteful & excellent. Very comfortable room & bed.

Only problem was parking

Rooms OK. Shared bathrooms are good as can be expected. The bad: Window was sealed shut and room was very stuffy with stale air and stinky old wood, so if you like fresh air, avoid. Noise travels. The guy in the next room yelling on the phone until midnight, and hear every time someones door closes.

More then value for money

food at the restaurant was great ..pitty theres no breakfast during the week.

Everything was fantastic with the exception of water pressure

Room was not cleaned properly .. we found rubbish left from the previous guests and dust on all over the furniture..
