We enjoyed our stay. Everything that we would need for a beach vacation was provided. The giant size beach umbrella, beach wagon and beach chairs were so handy. We also liked the close proximity to other Virginia attractions.Our family would definitely stay again.

Nice house for the money. Had everything we needed. Close to the zoo, museum, beaches, and shopping.

We had a very pleasant stay in this clean cozy home. The fire pit was a bonus and we very much appreciated the extra towels. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and property’s location was within a short walking distance to the beach!

We spent a wonderful 3 days in this cute house in Norfolk. The house is nicely furnished and very clean. Equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable retreat. Quiet neighbourhood, short walk to residential area beach. The hosts were helpful and truly kind.

What a lovely place . Clean ! Nice amenities , loved the back yard and privacy . Safe neighborhood . Wish it could have been a bit closer to the beach . We would definitely stay there again .

What a wonderful home! Very clean and the owner thought of all the needs in the kitchen, bathroom & even a first aid kit. Nice back patio, grill & fenced in backyard. Quiet neighborhood that is close to the beach. Had our granddaughters & they had a pack & play, books & games for them to enjoy. Would definitely stay there again!

The property is extremely well maintained with modern appliances. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to have our meals there. The house was very clean and all the appliances worked. What thoroughly impressed us was the hospitality and thoughtfulness of the owners (who we believe are also property managers). It felt like they had invited us to stay at their home and went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay . They had cold water in the fridge, breakfast bars, snacks and chocolates, a folder with listings of restaurants, public beaches and other information. All of that made us feel comfortable and at home. The public beach we went to is a four minute drive and we spent an entire afternoon there. Our texts and phone calls were answered in a timely manner and instructions for checking in and out were clear. Little acts of kindness that we were very grateful for. Next time we have to stay in Norfolk, we won't have to spend days researching where we would like to stay. It's going to be here!

The property was clean and the accommodations were comfortable. The beach was within a nice relaxing walking distance. It is a nice place to stay.

This stay was a wonderful place to celebrate our 48th Anniversary. Our day at the beach was exceptional in weather and water. Sitting under the cabana was so relaxing. We had a comfortable bed and terrific yard to enjoy. The house contained everything we needed for cooking and entertainment. Local restaurants were accessible with great seafood. Highly recommend this place. We will be back.

Loved the home. Beautiful decor, clean and close to Dollar Store. I love the fact that it is just 8 min walk to your own private beach. Will definitely stay here again.

My family of five loved this Beach House!!! The house was spotless when we arrived, it's a single level, w/ a large washer and dryer to wash all your clothes, it has 3 large bedrooms with comfortable beds. The hardwood floors were great for easy cleanup from long days at the beach with the kids trekking sand everywhere. The kitchen was awesome, w/ a large gas range that was perfect for prepping every meal. The kitchen was fully upgraded and new. Tons of counter space!!! The air conditioner was new and powerful, perfect for coming back from a long day at the beach and cooling off. The location of the house was excellent. The house is literally walking distance from the beach. No need to fuss w/ parking a vehicle to get to the beach. We have kids ages 8, 5, and 2, and the beach was perfect for them!!! It has sandbanks fifty feet from the shore, which kept the water calm, cool, with small waves. It was very safe for my boys. When they wanted to go boogie board on big waves we headed to virginia beach, which is 30 min from the house, or jetted over to Virginia's Eastern Shore, which was an hour away. Such a huge destination with so many sights from Cape Charles for free pier fishing, great meals, nice beaches, and Chincoteague for the Atlantic Ocean's major waves that is great for surfing or boogie boarding. Other highlights: The gas grill in the back yard. The large new gas outdoor grill was great for grilling steaks, shrimp, burgers, hotdogs... It really helped create some great summer moments. All in all, Norfolk and this beach house is one of our new favorite spots to vacation and unwind. We will definitely book another trip here, the boys, my wife, and I loved this area and the entire experience.
