Very disappointed to see this property rated as “excellent “ It is a DIRTY, run down property. Not old as in a historical charming old building. Someone mentioned it was a very noisy place. Well, I took my chances and now I can confirm it is really bad! No one here treated me wrong and I had a great time in this beautiful city. I just wouldn’t like for you to go through this bad experience at this place (I already did it for you!) Do yourself a favor and keep looking.

Nice location

Air conditioning was not the best. Took awhile to cool the room and would never get cold although cooler than outside

It was near the center and had good parks and eating options at various price points

Close to centre

Staff attentive. "Pool" was refreshing. Very centrally located to the Centro of Merida.

Loved the convenient location overlooking the park and the Cathedral. Fabulous three-tiered pool with the shaded area actually inside an renovated water tower! Very walkable area to all the cathedrals, barrios, restaurants, etc!

They are very nice and the hotel is just in the enter of all the action. You can walk from there and there is close a bus station with free public transportation from the government to be around downtown. But you need to be willing to wait. Thx guys, I really enjoy it.

It is ok, everything.

This is a fun place to stay. It's close to the city's main plaza and a lot of restaurants and bars. The immediate area is a little touristy, but it's only a block away from non-touristy areas. It can be a little noisy because of the location.

The place is really comfortable and quite nice, the price is good and the staff team is magnificent and friendly as well as safe. The only bad thing is that the parking lot is a bit far away but despite being late when I arrived at the hotel the staff accompanied me back and forth to return comfortably and safely to my room

Rooms were very Comfortable, Clean & Air conditioning. The Staff was so Awesome & accommodating. Very Polite & Respectable. Just wish they had small Refrigerators in each room, & More Hooks to hang clean clithes after Showering,

This place is a real gem. You can't find a hotel in a better location; just a block from the main plaza, surrounded by restaurants, cafes and shops. It's across from a park and a stone's throw from a 400+-year old church. Our room was on the third floor, on a corner with three large windows - great for people watching on the streets below. The large bedroom is separated from a bath by a hallway. A really good value if you want to stay downtown. The only downside is street noise. If you're a light sleeper it could be a problem; it never is for us, because we're sound sleepers and enjoy the bustle of the downtown area. The only other tiny con is that this hotel has the slowest elevator in the world. But this is Mexico, and no one gets in a hurry; not even the elevators! Highly recommended.

Old and worn out towels, no face or wash cloths, broken shower head that I asked to have fixed twice but they didn’t.

Location sells for itself, a block from Central Sqaure and close to many great restaurants! Unique style hotel!! Loved the design of the pool with its ancient architecture as well as the hotel itselfz. AC takes time to cool room so don’t expect extremely cold AC. Elevator is very slow.

Good place for money, downtown hotel, lots of dine options, very walkable, room was clean, no coffee cause it was the cheapest one but you can buy your own and prepare there.
