Laurene, the hostess, was wonderful. She made everything so easy and was always available to answer all of our questions. It was a safe location, in a gated community and the apartment was very clean. If you have no difficulties walking, you can walk to town, even though the pavements in Sint Martin are not the best. There is a supermarket nearby (even sold some vegetarian items), a pharmacy and more. Check out Wonderfood By De, a nice little restaurant, just a couple of minutes from the apartment.

We are tea lovers, so we did miss a kettle. And a little table inside would of been nice. But other than that everything we needed was in the apartment. At night we preferred to take the car into town for dinner, just to be on the safe side. In the day time, we had no problems walking to town.
