Anniversary trip to this hotel was a great getaway from home. Always love a beach front hotel that has a pool and a restaurant. All in one place.

I would like to take a moment to convey my deep appreciation of your team. I flew down to FLL on a one way ticket to purchase a new car. (Car prices are much higher in my home state than Florida.) Unfortunately, the car had previously undosclosed issues and i had to walk away from the deal. I was planning on departing right from the dealer to drive home. But there we were, my son and I, with our bags at the dealer and no car to drive. I needed a play to stay until we could get a flight out the next day. So, I snagged the first place that popped up on my Expedia app. When we arrived, HOURS before check in, I explained what happened and asked if there was any way I could get a room earlier, since we had no where to go with our bags. Your team were so understanding and got us into a room right away, even apologzing that i may hear some repair work. Our unplanned stay was magical. The service and the room was spot on. We had such an amazing time that I am now planning a return trip with the whole family and will absolutely be returning to the Beachcomber.

Loved this resort. Private beach, easy access to nearby shopping and restaurants and easily accessible to Miami. Valet parking was a great touch, however, it did not make sense to charge 18.00 for valet parking and also self parking which was across the street. Honestly that should have been a part of the resort fee. Secondly, the room was great, just wished it had a microwave.

The staff was very friendly, we were able to check in hours early and enjoy the property. Beach chairs & umbrellas were free which is a bonus bc most places charge $40 for the day. We were bothered by maintenance at 10am in the morning for routine checks however the hotel did refund the resort fee for the inconvenience.

Great location and condition

Our flight was canceled two days in the row because of Hurricane Debbie, they didn’t care to refund at least a part of the reservation. Disappointing from them and Expedia that putting the responsibility to each other.

This hotel is quaint, clean, and perfect for our little family getaway. The property is located on the beach, which is nice for this area. The pool had plenty of chairs, umbrellas, and four cabanas available for rent (which we did for two days - highly recommend!) The property is a little older, but well maintained. We enjoyed the pool bar, which is indoors, but has floor to ceiling glass windows and doors which can be opened to create a perfect indoor/outdoor feel but can also be closed in stormy weather. The food was decent. I do wish there were more gluten free options and healthier options on the menu (bar/restaurant). There is also a nice cafe inside of the hotel lobby that offers smoothies and coffee drinks. The staff was superb!

Loved the clean property & beautiful beach! Daily housekeeping was great! Front desk employees very nice. Deep restaurant had great food & drinks!

Everyone was very nice and helpful. The front desk was outstanding!!. Pool and beach services were excellent. The reason I want give it a 5 stars is due to the rooms need to be updated mainly the bathroom. I will return again!!!!

they have the option to use the beach loungers however, they do not allow any food or drink with you. My husband is in remission and needs to stay hydrated we got a small cooler with only water in it and the attendant was so rude and incredibly condescending stating that we could not have even water. People are there to relax not to be bullied about wanting water in 90 degree weather.

Beautiful place and very clean

The room was nice, with comfortable beds. The ocean view balcony was fantastic. The bathroom was quite dated and could do with a deeper cleaning. The staff we encountered were helpful and pleasant. The food and coffee in the cafe was very good, but the sit down breakfast was pretty bland. Food is very expensive on site, but there is plenty of other places to eat in the area.

Relaxing and quiet resort! Rooms are clean as well as everywhere in the resort. Good staff and convenient location! Very nice views! All partial-view rooms are facing the ocean!

What an amazing property! I loved every minute of the time spent at Beachcomber- from the rooms to the beach to the pools to the food. It feels like you’re in your own private paradise. Worth every penny!

Really enjoyed our stay. Very clean, smells great, friendly and accommodating staff. Very impressed with stay!

The majority of the property was well cared for. We did have some issues that I thought were a significant problem. The fire alarm went off every day we were there. We had to walk down 5 flights of stairs each time it went off. My wife has a bad knee, so this was a major problem. When I checked out today, I asked what the problem was. It turns out there is just a malfunction, and they have no way to let anyone know it appears. The key cards kept not working. Each day we had to have one or both of them reprogrammed. We were told not to keep it by our phones. After the first day, the key cards were not kept in the same area as out phones. My wife kept her card in the protective case they gave her and twice it didn't work. It is more than frustrating that we had to keep going back from the room to have this done over and over. This is a problem that they know about. The rooms themselves are spacious and nice, but the pillows are small and so soft they need three to make a normal king-sized pillow. The views from the balcony are amazing. The only downside to the balconies is there is not privacy between balconies. Anyone can just step over a short rail and be on the next room's balcony. The balcony door specifically tells you to lock that door for basically this reason. I have never seen a hotel that had this issue. The staff by the pool was amazing. They are very attentive and friendly. $40 daily resort fee $18 daily parking fee is a bit extreme.
