My expectations weren't high since it was under $100 for the night. Room/hotels was run down, but clean and the staff was nice. Upon check-in, the room was very hot and the A/C blew out hot air. They got me another room. That room was cool, but the A/C was loud. Again - expectations weren't high due to the cost. Thanks.

I ended up did not check in at this place when we arrived we saw a person trying to breaking in someone’s car or at least seem like it. So we park far away. Then the first room they gave me had strong smell of cigarettes and cockroaches on the bed. I then ask for the difference room. I have my boyfriend stay in the car while I ran up the 3rd floor to check the room real quick and somebody was on the 2nd floor asking if I’m alone (I did not spoke back) the second room the AC was not working the room was like 100 Degree in there. I then telling them I don’t want to stay there anymore and the guy said he has to wait till his manager come in the morning to give me back the refund because I booked via Expedia. So no more booking at Red Roof they have bad reputation in my eyes now.

Needed a qucik cheap option to stay for a week and this succeeded. It can be noisy and active at night from other occupants, but that's no fault to the hotel.Staff was friendly.

This was a nice cozy spot. I wz only passing through & needed a comfortable nites rest. Very quite. Bed & pillows wz comfortable. I wz skeptical @ 1st. Red Roof Ins used to have a bad reputation. I appreciate the hard wood floors. It was missing an exhaust fan n the bathroom. Upgrade on that & they really deserve a 5 star. Perhaps using a slightly better laundry detergent for a fresher scent on the sheets. Lol. I still would recommend this location.

A pile of dog waste was left on sidewalk for two days I feel that if the crew was going over grounds every day it should have not taken that long to get cleaned up

Outside was poorly lit where the stairs are. Tub had hair in it, sheets had a stain on it like it was burnt and the toilet seat was broken. Room needed a ceiling fan to help with keeping the room more climate controlled. Felt uneasy as soon as I arrived.

It seemed clean, but smelled like mildew. Nothing happened to me, but there was a wrecked car in the back of parking lot. When i went for a walk around the building, it just didnt seem safe. Staff was extremely nice!

It was not clean, broken equipment, and staff was not readily available.

No one there at check in time. Door was locked with a note on it saying they’d be back shortly. Note had a phone # to call for assistance. It didn’t work!!!

This hotel is disgusting & Expedia should not even partner with it. The first room (113) was so coated with filth that I was afraid to touch anything. Light over sink broken, AC broken, room phone broken, no hair dryer. Moved to Rm 234- still very dirty, no hair dryer (office finally found one for me to use), threadbare towels, no Kleenex, furniture battered. The only hotel ice machine was broken for 2 days, as well as the washer & dryer. Misrepresented online. I asked for refund after seeing the rooms, but was told "non-refundable" because I booked via Expedia. I realize Red Roof Inn is a budget-friendly hotel, but for $100/night one should expect at least basic cleanliness & functioning and basic hotel amenities like hair dryer and tissues.

The hotel was very run down. The majority of occupants appeared to be residential migrants. There were toys and a dog food bowl in the hallway. The room was very small. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the pillows were so thin, they were barely there. The bath products were almost non-existent. The towels were as rough as sandpaper. There was no hair dryer.

It’s adequate for my needs. No frills, but no complaints.

I went to Chapel Hills for medical procedures @ UNC. I had reserved 3 nights for two days of medical treatment. When my day @ UNC was cancelled, I only stayed at Red Roof Inn for 2 nights but could not get a receipt or verification that I had turned in the key on Friday morning, the 14th. I will carefully watch to be sure my account is credited with my leaving early & only staying two days instead of 3.

If I could give 0 stars I would. rey u clean and littered with bugs. The workers were helpful to extent they could be without their manager there, but I had to return 2 separate times because the manager was not there when we were told he’d be.

nice Motel at a good price. Coffee at the Lobby was Ok. Some shady characters were roaming around the motel got us worried, but all was ok at the end of the stay.

This is the kind of place where people stay for the night, not 3-4 day trip. However, the location is very good for access to Durham and Chapel Hill. Nothing much in walking distance.

It is conveniently located off the exit. Perfect for overnight stay

The remote control for the TV wouldn't work. Had to power TV on manually and change channels manually.

This is an excellent motel given that what and where it is.

Pretty disgusting time there. First room looked old. It had throw up on the carpet. Then the second room spelled like cat litter.

Apparently I am required to put something here. This is a budget property, and you should be aware of what you are purchasing. If you want the Ritz, pay for the Ritz. This was exactly what I needed. So far, it seems likely to be quiet, despite proximity to the Highway. I could tell it had been recently cleaned/sanitized as soon as I opened the door, and there is no stench of cigarettes - direct or attempting to be hidden.
